Ch. 201 Moonlight Dragon vs the Ice Queen

"Sorry I… Tricked you! Bahahaha!" I bonk Esdeath over the head with my Darkmoon Greatsword as the clone she pierced bursts into a pile of snow
I hit her so hard the ground beneath us caves in, breaking everyone's balance
I swing my sword, sending an icy slash that blows everyone off of him.
"Hehe." I smile at Kara who looked both relieved and angry that I was here "hey there, partner!" I beam as he pats my head.
…
"What a cliche. Didn't think I'd die, did ya?" I smirk
He chuckles.
"What's this?" He scratches the back of my Wolfy Dog Ears on top of my head "Odin… did you…"
"Mhmm!" I leaned into his touch "we fused our magic energy… couldn't just leave you alone, you know? I also got a tail!" I wiggle my butt
He checks me out
…
"You need me, now more than ever." I smile widely
"Cana…" he looks away, shamefully.
"Don't give up, Kara… not now, not when we're so close…"
"You're right…" he sighs
I throw my Greatsword over my shoulder
"Let me have at her. It's time someone teaches her some manners."
"Shes strong, Cana… don't forget what I taught you."
"Hehe!" I pump my fist "you bet!"
He cracks a genuine smile, before bumping my fist.
"Don't die again." He stretches his arm as he turns around to face this opponents with more confidence than ever
"You neither, bucko."
I turned around, slowly and dramatically to face Esdeath who was crawling out of the ground.
I point my giant sword at her
"Cana… we finally meet…" she gives me a nasty dirty look
"Yes, we have… and I don't appreciate the things you put inside Kara's head."
"Me? You're kidding, right? You know him just as well as I do… you know exactly what he is…"
"No… you don't know anything about him!" I launch at her
She catches my blade with her own.
She knocks mine aside
I jump back, dragging my blade across the ground and swinging it over my shoulder.
A humongous glacier smashes into her as it sprouts from the ground.
She splits it clean in half as she teleports into the sky
She snaps her fingers, summoning a gigantic ice ball the size of a mountain.
I split that clean in half.
It bursts into a cloud that began snowing across the entire terrain.
I catch the tip of Esdeath's blade with mine.
Unlike my clone the blade itself is indestructible.
But she let's go of her blade and lands in front of me
"Oh crap-."
She smashes her fist into my chest
I drop my sword, flopping across the terrain
"Oof, ouch…" I quiver, sitting up
She tries picking up my sword as she takes her own
"Nice try." I pull myself up. I outstretch my arm opening my hand.
My sword flies back to me
"But you are not worthy. Of this sword, much less Kara's Love!" We lunge at each other again
We clash our swords back and forth.
Thanks to Odin I was stronger and faster than her so I managed just fine with my Tsukigan. But she was much more skilled with her sword and magic.
I slow her blade with my gaze.
I slap it aside and step in, bashing my elbow into her face
I bring my palm over and smack it into her chest. An icy blue dragon scoops her up
She splits it in half before it could smash her into the ground
It bursts into snowflakes that fly at her like ninja stars
She blocks and slaps them aside with her sword
I jump into the fray, knocking and slapping her around with my gigantic sword, giving her very little room to breathe
She stumbles back, her head hanging down as she huffs and puffs
I raise my sword, summoning a massive moon about half a mile across.
It crushes into a quarter of its size before crushing again another quarter.
I keep crushing it until it was the size of a beach ball
I launch at Esdeath
"Full Moon of…" I bring my sword over
Before I could blast her in the chest everything freezes

Time
Space
And Matter
It all froze
…
I couldn't move.
I couldn't even breathe
She steps around the Moon and draws her blade
She launches at me, only this time I wasn't able to do anything.
All I could do was slow her blade the closer it got to my chest.
Because of my eyes I could think, for what felt like days, in the time it takes for her blade to reach my chest.
She creeps closer as I try to find a way out, but it was pointless if I couldn't move a muscle.
Then I remembered what Kara told me about my eyes, and I remembered what I read…
That's right…
Her technique began crumbling around us, freeing my lips to utter two words I've only ever seen Kara say
"Domain Expansion."
The terrain darkens. A vast ocean replaced the ground we stood on and stretched indefinitely
"Crecent Veil of Selene…"
A Crescent Moon lights up the blackened sky.
I disappeared before she could pierce me again.
In fact, my Presence was completely invisible to her so long as I wasn't attacking her inside this Domain

Thanks to the Crescent moon shining brightly inside the Domain I had 3 Guaranteed Hits that multiplied my magic power by 300% so long as I wasn't dealing a fatal blow. A restraint I set myself.
Making it impossible for me to kill her even if I tried.
I snap right behind her, already swinging my giant blade over to bash her back.
"Moonlight Dragon Slash!"
I snap above her, bashing her over the head with my sword again.
"Moonlight Dragon Hammer!"
She lands on her feet, jerking her head around to find me, only meeting my gaze once she realized I had the tip of my blade pressed against her chest.
"Darkmoon Dragon Flash!"
I blast her with a powerful beam that blows my domain away after the third blow
She crashes into a mountain in the vast distance.
A gigantic icy storm envelopes the entire region, frosting trees and the capital itself.
Esdeath gathers and hardens the snow into an icy golem about 50 meters tall
I shove my Darkmoon Greatsword into the Ground
"Come forth…" I squeeze my eyes shut, creating a giant magic circle beneath me
"Moon Dragon Caligo, Miasma of the Night!"
I summon an Icy White Dragon as I slowly and dramatically pull my sword out of my ground. It was 30 meters tall with long beautiful wings.
Tsukirei, the Summoning of Powerful Moon Spirits came with this second Phase too.
He launches at Esdeath and her Golem.
It bites and slashes at the Golem
I create magic barriers to block Esdeath from shooting my Dragon down as I return fire, or shall I say Ice, with my Greatsword.
Caligo pulls his head back
He roars into the Golems face as I jump off his head
I point my Greatsword to the sky
"Darkmoon Blade of Kuraokami!"
I glare at Esdeath.
Hyotoki, the final Technique Unlocked through the Second Phase of my Tsukigan eyes. I can freeze her perception of time for .03 seconds, just long enough for me to strike
I smash my blade into Esdeaths shoulder. A Snakey Dragon 100 meters long crushes her into the ground, obliterating her Golem in an instant.

"That's enough, Esdeath" I huff as blood gushed from her head, spurting like she burst a vein
…
"Please… No more, you shouldn't be putting yourself under this much stress…"
Her baby…
I feel terrible, but I know she's strong enough to keep him safe.
Still, she shouldn't be fighting in the first place.
…
"Who do you think you are…" she huffs
"We don't have to fight… Kara… I'm not taking him anywhere. We're staying here, in Rome. Close to you and your baby… I won't let him run away again…"

"Kara… is Mine, He belongs to Me." Two long black leather wings bursts out of her back

"You don't get to decide." She glared at me
"We can both have him…" I whimper. "So please, stop fighting…"
Two little horns rip through the skin on her head, pointing to the sky.
She stands up with ease, despite my blade pinning her down.
She knocks me back with a strong icy gust of wind
Another strong gust blows me aside
Even despite grounding my feet yet another blows me into the sky
"Ice Dragon Arrow!" I pull the magical icy bowstrings back
I glare at Esdeath, freezing her perception before firing three arrows into her chest which burst into snow before they got too close.
"Crap…"
She got away stronger somehow.
She must've been going easy this entire time…
I spin around, blocking her blade with my Greatsword.
She knocks my giant sword aside
I quickly Expand my Domain again, before she could take my head off.
"Moonlight Spear!" I nail her back with my attack
The attack knocks her across the Domain
"Moonlight Dragon Fist!" I nail her cheekbone hard enough to hear a crunch.
I twirl into the sky
And finally…
"Darkmoon…"
A giant Darkmoon snaps and cracks in front of me
"Chariot!" I roar, a Dragon devouring the Darkmoon and smashing Esdeath into the water of my domain just before it begins crumbling around me and welding her into the ground.

She burst out of the ice
I stumble back, ducking and dodging her icy fist, spamming Hyotoki to freeze her perception and avoid every fatal blow she threw at me.
I quickly spin behind her after finally seeing an opening.
"Moonlight Kick!"
She easily reaches back and catches my foot by her head
"Crap…"
She swings me over her shoulder and slams me into the ground she hardened with ice.
I skip across the frozen ground like a skipping rock before crashing into a frozen tree
…
"Oof…" I cough
That's…
That's it…
That's the last of it…
My hair settles back to its natural brunette before Odin jumps out of my chest and onto my lap as a little pup.
Esdeath smirks
…
I shut my eyes
Oh Kara…
I look up as her blade nears my eyeball
Please don't hurt her…
He catches her blade as he lands right in front of me
…
Awe man… I thought I finally paid him back for saving me all those times…
I carefully stand up
His hair was a bluish green hue and his aura was turquoise.
This must be his Super Saiyan Transformation.
"Dont hurt her you! She has a baby!" I remind him.
"Right… It's my turn, Cana. Run along."
"Why you…" I grumble
I hop on top of Nimbus.
I look around for the four World Government guys
They were all sprawled out, barely breathing.
"Hurry Nimbus!" I shout, racing to their aid.

Pov.
-Kara-
…
"She was stronger than I thought… I see why you took an interest in her."
"She doesn't belong here…She is everything this world is not."
Maybe that's why.
She is the very thing I could not conquer.
Esdeath glares at me, with the same hateful gleam I always saw in Lucy.
"I'll kill you… after I kill her…"
She sheathes her blade and launches at me.
