With everyone rushing toward the nest of the Electro Fenrirs. A particular someone is keeping a close eye on Kristin.
'Tsk, just because she's a chosen hero she gets to have the gem. Most of the tribes doesn't even know the gems' existence before that Finch revealed it. Pretty sure they're facing a lot of trouble right now.'
This particular someone is Hawk, the one who wants to antagonize the gang but wasn't able to because Finch said that he would be punished if he gets in a fight with them again.

"Storm you have some nerve to let your envoy reveal about the gems. You know its a secret only few knows." Dagat said coldly as the others nodded.
"You know how the public knowledge of the gems has caused war before the entire island, yet you let him reveal them." Tlaloc cast a sharp side eye to Finch who was running behind them along with the other envoys.
"Talk about it later alright you old foggies?" Shula cut in. "We are about to fight thunderbeasts and you have time to worry more about the knowledge of the gems?"
Hmp.
Both Tlaloc and Dagat halt their berating on Storm as Shula made her point.
Awkward silence was left the rest of the way.
-Tribe of Swirling Winds-
"Man why did we come here..." Elijah complained as the bitter smell of herbs filled his nose.
"We can thank Charlotte for that." Alex, whose also arranging herbs, glanced a side eye to Charlotte who was sorting out different wooden bottles and bowls.
"Hey how are you guys?" Joana checked in on them from the 'infirmary'.
"Bored, disgusted, and more bored." Elijah sighed. "How are you able to cope up with this?"
"I don't." Joana answered with another sigh.
"Its so boring here with nothing to do other than sort herbs, bottles, and listen to Cranky Crane complain about every detail, and I can't stand the bitter and sweet smell of plants here." She complained. "You would think that some of the flowers here would disperse the smell of herbs but it actually made it worse."
"Hey I heard you," Crane shouted from another room, "Stop chatting around and go help Calen prepare the herbs for wounds and burns." She entered the infirmary and wacked a stick at her head.
"How are the herbs?" Crane asked Elijah and Alex.
"Its going well grandma Crane, though I don't think I've seen some of the herbs here." Alex replied with curiosity as some of the plants and herbs here didn't exist on earth.
Hearing the curiosity in his voice, Crane humored him and gave a brief summary of what some of the herbs do.
A herb called sokha, specifically its leaves, is used for coughs and mild fever. Its leaves looks like the general leaves but when dried under the sun it becomes blue for some reason
Another is called ardeat petals, which when grounded down to a paste, can be used to heal burns. And they have these in bulk as of now since warriors are fighting the thunderbeasts who's lightning attack will leave burns if they're not already ash. the flower looks like a bright orange rose.
The stem has a stronger effect but when applied wrong, can cause the burn to worsen so its rarely used for severe burns.
A few more herbs were explained such as kirji leaves can be used for chest pains, cabeza buds for headaches, and gigi seeds could be chewed for toothaches, and some more before Crane was called by Calen about something.
"You young ones take a break, I'll call you again later." Crane said as she left.
The gang took a long breath as they finally escaped the deathly boring sorting task.
While crossing some bridges, they met a little girl with somewhat a familiar face.
"Hello friends of Joana." Said the little girl.
"Hello uh.... Maya right? Gale's sister?" Alex remembered Maya. The one Joana saved from a deadly illness.
"Yes that's me." Maya said as Alex noticed she was carrying a big pot that's about half of Maya who Alex estimated to be 4'6".
"Say Maya, how old are you?" Alex asked.
"Oh um... My mother said I'm 8 cycles old." Maya answered.
"A cycle is the full change of seasons right?" Alex continued.
"I'm sorry?" Maya looked confused.
"From the first blossom to first blossom." Alex clarified. "That's what you call spring right?" He inquired.
"Oh yes. But I was born during falling leaves according to my mother." Maya explained. Though she doesn't know what 'spring' is.
"What you got there?" Elijah butted in.
"Oh this? Mother asked me to bring it to the healer's hut so they could eat." Maya explained.
"But why so much?" Charlotte asked, since there's only 3 people working there.
"Mother said the apprentices who were left behind are helping out, so she cooked some more." Maya answered with an innocent smile.
"Then let us help you with that." Leslie offered. The gang agreed.
"I got it." Alex reached out and Maya handed the pot, and they went back to the healer's hut.
