After seeing the rabbit, they left that place in surprise and went searching for the three of them. Meanwhile, they hid themselves from others. Suddenly, a tiger appeared and frightened them, forcing them to flee quickly. Rudra Senan and Bimbeesam caught sight of them, and when the tiger chased them away, they asked, "Why are you searching for us?" They explained what had happened. Rudra Senan then said, "We will protect you and take you along." His words gave them relief, and the three joined him.
He invited them to his palace and asked how they had survived in that place. They narrated everything that had happened. Afterwards, Rudra Senan kept them safely in his palace. When they requested him to explain the mysteries of that place, Rudra Senan began to speak about Amaravati.
Amaravati was a city created by the gods, filled with golden structures everywhere. The entire city shone with gold, always festive and illuminated. This Amaravati was ruled by King Ugrasena, Rudra Senan's grandfather. Before him, another ruler had governed, but his name is unknown and not recorded in any history. To protect the city from demons and evil forces, special arenas were built. After each king's death, their spirits would return to guard the city from evil. To worship and bind these spirits, the gods created a race called the Kaalargal. However, the gods made a mistake: they considered Amaravati entirely their own. From then until now, every king has built arenas around Amaravati to protect it.
The Kaalargal could be bound only through music. That is why music was played at night to control them. During the day, they could not move outside; they could only come out at night. Thus, they were bound by music. Moreover, Goddess Agmika gave them the power to take lives, just like Death itself. Only the lives of Amaravati's kings could be taken by them. Why this rule was written, Rudra Senan himself did not know. It was simply decreed that Agnikaval would take lives.
Their ancestors, known as Sentinels, had helped the gods by providing resources. In return, no human life was allowed inside. Those who entered would be consumed. This was the arrangement. But over generations, the Chola dynasty forgot these truths. Many mysteries remain unknown even to Rudra Senan. He said, "Listen to me. After protecting this city, we will help you here, and then send you to Chola so you may live and speak freely." They agreed and began to speak about Oberion. Only after learning about Oberion would they know who they truly were. They decided to summon him, believing his presence would strengthen them.
Rudra Senan immediately called Oberion, who then explained everything. Rudra Senan realized their first task was to find out what Parantakan was doing in that chamber. His actions seemed unusual and suspicious. Lrentz and Harold met Agnikaval and spoke of the danger. They explained their family's history, and Rudra Senan understood that Parantakan was preparing something dangerous. For years, he had been quietly waiting, and now his intentions were unclear.
Later, Rudra Senan went to rest. In the morning, he told them, "First, we must discover what Parantakan is doing. Only then will we have answers." The three, along with Oberion, disguised themselves and secretly went at night to the palace's final chamber. What they saw shocked and frightened them. Returning to Rudra Senan's palace, they reported what they had witnessed.
Parantakan was performing rituals with the blood of many people, washing offerings, and forging a sword infused with the spirits of the dead. This sword gained immense power, and he used it to kill innocents. But that was not all—he was attempting something even greater. The Kaalargal had once summoned a demon, Yamarakshasan, and Parantakan was now trying to break mystical seals to release him. He was working tirelessly to unleash this destructive force.
