Chapter 123 - Chapter 122

"We did it..." Lily smiled as she stared at the two frozen men, and panted as she was drained of all her strength.

There were bruises all over her body, and a dry trail of blood from her mouth, however, her eyes were bright as she had won her battle, and she had defeated a gigantic snake.

The Giantess laughed heartily, but then she felt goosebumps all over her body, and when she glanced at Robin, she saw the horror on her face.

Instinctively, she looked back, saw a very large man, and met his cold blue eyes.

Ragnus smiled at the fear in her eyes and swung his sword, ready to end her life, but furrowed his brows when a Lightning Spirit appeared between them and blocked his blade with a Lightning Blade.

"Ha..." He powered through and cut the spirit in half with his Haki, but the Giantess was gone now.

Ragnus glared at the sky where he sensed their presence but did not chase after them as Kizaru had locked on him and unleased his annoying light bullets.

He disappeared from his place, appearing right next to the Admiral, and then swung his blade that was infused with his Conqueror's Haki.

Unable to dodge in time, having been caught off-guard, Kizaru was forced to block it, and he was sent flying with a force that rattled his mind.

By the time Ragnus glanced at Robin, she was gone as well, and then two Lightning Shackles grabbed the two statues and pulled them up into the sky.

"You are annoying, Lightning Brat."

Without a second thought, he charged up into the sky but stopped with a terrifying pillar of lighting fell on him, forcing him to protect himself.

Ragnus crashed into the Iron Paradise, and it gave enough time for Garp and Kuzan to reach him.

Two figures dropped down on Tsuru's Ship, right behind the Vice-Admiral, and Lily, frozen in shock, trembled as she recalled those cold eyes.

"Hey..." Robin placed her hand on her shoulder, and the cold touch jolted her out of the dazed state. "Recover. The battle isn't over yet."

The Giantess smiled and nodded her head, and then stood up and glanced back.

She frowned when she saw Black Pearl coming from far away, and then raised her brow when she witnessed Bonney flapping her Golden Wings and rushing towards them.

"You can fly?!" She exclaimed in shock when the Pinkhead, who was now a golden blonde, landed next to her, looking ethereal.

"Of course! I am an angel." She grinned as she returned to her true image.

Tsuru glanced at her, furrowing her brows, and a lot of Marines were intrigued by her powers.

"Then why do you keep complaining?!" The Giantess was still not over the shock.

Bonney just shrugged and then stared into the distance, where an apocalyptic battle had started.

"We need to pull back." Robin said to the Great Staff Officer, who frowned.

"There are still some people on the island..."

"We will lose more than we can save now. Recall the Marines." She solemnly said, and froze when Sin appeared in front of the ship and punched the air.

His fist crashed into something invisible, which spread shockwaves all around, and then he rushed to Robin and picked her up in his arms.

"Can you freeze the fog?" He gently asked, and she briefly fell in a trance when she saw a faint ring round his pupils.

"Yes."

She was very tired, but she knew she had to push herself.

Sin took her to the edge of the Rainbow Fog, and as soon as she turned into a bluish white flame spirit, she was able to float in the air on her own.

She placed her hands inside the Fog, and then unleashed her Frostflame, freezing everything that it touched.

The Marines stared in disbelief as all Fog froze and turned into a massive wall, and Robin did not stop until she was completely drained.

Her body swayed, but Sin caught her and brought her back to the ship, and then Augur landed by her side and transferred energy into her body, making her feel better.

"There's still some left on the other side." Sin playfully said, and when she smiled, he grabbed her took her away.

Minutes later, there were now four Iceburgs around the Iron Paradise, and the Younger Black sat down against the mast after Augur gave her some more energy.

Even though she was physically fined, she was mentally exhausted, and she needed some rest.

"What is he doing?" Simca asked, not understanding why Sin made her do something so outrageous.

"He's hunting Bach and preventing him from using his powers to coordinate with Desco. The Sniper has Osu Osu no Mi. It allows him to generate powerful telekinetic slaps and even telekinetically grab things and people. And he uses it to push his bullets to go even faster."

Her words surprised the old Vice Admiral, and things finally started making sense.

On the other side, Sin had rushed into the Iron Paradise, and Kuma was right by his side now.

The two of them worked together as they eliminated the enemies and rescued the hostages, who were now being killed by Bach.

They could not save everyone, but Sin's rage kept bulling up with every dead body of a child he came across.

His fellow Warlord did not show any exoresisms on his face, but given that he was transporting away even the dead, it was clear that he was unsettled as well.

Sin finally picked up on Desco, who had appeared right on top of the Iron Paradise, and he instantly transformed into a Lightning Spirit and rushed up.

It was a trap, of course, aimed at separating him and Kuma, but he did not care.

He had laid out his own trap.

As soon as Desco felt goosebumps, he used his Devil Fruit Powers two push everything around him with great force, and grinned when he saw the Lightning Spirit getting slapped away.

He then fired a few Seastone Bullets in quick succession, pushing them even faster with his Devil Fruit, and his heart skipped a beat in excitement when he saw the target get pierced by them.

But then the smile on his face froze as he saw the Lightning Spirit disperse and vanish, and before he could react, a pillar of Lightning fell on him from the sky, electrocuting him.

His body crackled with electricity even when the Lightning disappeared, and then his heart was pierced from behind by a Haki imbued sword that had been buried to the hilt in his back.

Kizaru landed right next to Sin when he pulled Enma out of Desco body, which made the fallen Pirate drop like a sack of potatoes. He then took a deep breath and turned to his left.

In the distance, they both saw Mihawk cut the wings of a gigantic man, bringing an end to his battle against Kromm, who fell from the sky, no longer able to fight.

"Help the Old Man." Sin said to Kizaru before he rushed towards Kromm, and right when Bach appeared from the Fog to save his friend, he grabbed the man's hand and pulled him out of the Rainbow Fog.

"How..." He asked in disbelief as he stared into those cold grey eyes that now had a faint ring around the pupils, and the Black smiled at him.

"25,000,000 Volts..." He whispered, and bathed the man in electricity. Sensing him resist, he upped the voltage. "50,000,000 Volts... 100,000,000 Volts... 200,000,000 Volts... 400,000,000 Volts..."

Bach's Haki failed him, and he entered a Cardiac Arrest, losing his consciousness.

Sin coldly looked at Kromm, who was trying to get up on his feet, but Mihawk simply decapitated his head.

"You look beat." He playfully said, and the Hawk-Eyes smirked at him.

"You should check the mirror first."

Sin chuckled and glanced in the direction where Garp had been smashed into the metallic umbrella of the Iron Paradise.

He sighed and then disappeared with Bach's body, and dropped it off on Black Pearl under the guise of Lightning Strikes.

Bepo was waiting there with the Sea Stone Shackles, but he stopped him and focused on reviving Bach first.

Thankfully, the man had a strong willpower and his heart started beating again after a few electrical shocks.

The rest of his body, however, was paralysed now, and when the Seastone Shackles were put of him, he nearly lost his consciousness again.

"Sail back." Sin ordered Bepo, Bart, and Kuina, who were worriedly looking at him.

"Captain..." The swordsgirl stepped forward when his body swayed, but he raised his hand and stopped her.

"Ragnus will kill everyone. Without the Old Man, neither Kizaru or Kuzan stand a chance. Kuma is done too, having pushed himself to his limits, and Mihawk can fight, but he's tired."

His head was buzzing now, and having pushed his Devil Fruit Powers to their limits for the last few hours, he too was on the verge of falling from exhaustion.

The Marine Vessels were already pulling back, and the Buster Call was a serious option now.

However, Tsuru would never give the call for it and sacrifice the lives of Kuzan and Garp.

Only Kizaru would survive the attack.

Unfortunately, Buster Call would not do anything to Ragnus. His powers provided him with a near ultimate defence.

"You don't have to fight him..."

He sighed at Bepo's words.

"If he lives today, he will come after us." He lightly said, revealing the true reason why he had to fight, and disappeared.

"Kuina. Put him in the cell." Bepo told the Shimotsuki, who nodded her head and dragged Bach's body away.

The Mink rushed to the helm after setting the sails with Bart and Vigaro's help, and then sailed the Black Pearl away.

A short while later, Bonney brought Robin and Lily onboard, and then she made another round and brought over Augur, who was a kid now. She handed him to Vigaro to put him in the bed.

The Blackstar Crew climbed up the Nests on the Masts, and stared into the distance, where the majestic Iron Paradise was getting farther and farther away, sealed inside the Lightning Cage with dark clouds constantly thundering in the sky.
