Chapter 122 - Chapter 121

Blood dripped down from the blade of Nidai Kitetsu, and Sin, who was staring at fallen Lunarians, sighed and jerked the last drops off before closing his eyes.

During the battle, he had found out that his senses were caged inside a cube, and as he stepped forward, his prison moved with him, preventing him from sensing anything outside.

He opened his eyes, and at the same time, he unleashed a powerful wave of his Conqueror's Haki, trying to break his senses out of this prison, fighting against the powers of the Shroud Shroud Fruit.

His will forced the prison to expand until it finally gave way, and before it could repair itself, he rushed out and flew out of the corridor, up into the sky, away from the hold of the Rainbow Fog.

In the distance, he could sense two Conquerors fighting against each other, who were Garp and Ragnus, and further ahead, he could sense Mihawk up against someone who was just as strong as him, undoubtedly Kromm. Kizaru was helping around, working with Kuma to aid the Marines, and Aokiji was fighting together with the Marine Hero, who was, for the moment, faring well against the Warmonger.

This, however, could not be said for everyone.

Sensing that their forces were getting overwhelmed by the War Pirates, Sin unleashed a powerful burst of Conqueror's Haki, incapacitating the enemy fodder who were fighting against the Marines, and then he rushed further up into the sky and heightened his Observation Haki to its limits.

He gritted his teeth as he was unable to sense Bach, and, furrowing his brows, he concentrated on the isolated spaces. All movements in the electromagnetic waves were being picked up by him, and he was waiting for his target to show up. He needed the man to come out of the Rainbow Fog.

To his irritation, Bach mostly stayed inside the fog, which was almost everywhere, and he travelled through it, not taking any risks. He was focused on helping his crewmates, and the troublesome powers of the Shroud Shroud Fruit had already taken a lot of lives.

As Sin expanded the domain of his Observation Haki, he suddenly sensed a storm brewing in the sea not far away, and, without a second thought, rushed in its direction.

Half an hour later, the night sky above the Iron Paradise was rumbling loudly, and lightning started falling from the clouds, helping the Marines against the War Pirates.

Sin covered the entire island inside a Lightning Cage, and stayed in the sky, keeping his senses everywhere.

He also formed a cage around the Marine Fleet, preventing the enemies from attacking them from the sides.

At the moment, Robin and Lily were fighting against Raka and Jacko, having finally made it past the weaklings, whom the Marines were dealing with now.

Both the War Commanders were in their Hybrid-Zoan Forms, and his sister had cleverly pushed them on top of the roof, having frozen the Rainbow Fog, preventing Bach from aiding his crewmates in the battle.

As for Bonney and Yamato, they were inside the Iron Paradise with Kujaku, gathering the Lunarian children and women.

He frowned when he sensed them suddenly get isolated again, and, in the distance, felt Augur going head to head with Desco, who was teleporting all over the place with the help of Bach.

The showdown between the two Snipers was quite intense, and his friend was constantly saving lives, preventing them from being targeted by the organised assaults from the War Pirates.

Explosions could be heard and seen everywhere, the icy field between the Marine Fleet and the Iron Island was now breaking apart, trapping the Marines.

Putting all his trust in his crew, Sin stopped worrying about them and got to work on their priorities. He arrived on the deck of his ship and told Bepo to move the vessel to the south of the island, away from the eyes of the Marines. And then he rushed inside the Iron Paradise again.

Everyone, including Ragnus, Garp, Kizaru, Aokiji, and Mihawk, frowned when they saw the Lightning Storm growing very intense.

However, they did not have the luxury to understand Sin's intentions.

Marines did not notice that the Black Pearl had sailed away, heading to the other side of the Iron Paradise.

As for Sin, it took him some time to get through the Rainbow Fog, but he found his way to Bonney, Yamato, and Kujaku, who had a lot of Lunarians with them.

Once the ship reached its destination, Kuina, Bart, and Bepo got to work, preparing the cells, and Vigaro kept his eyes on everything from the sky.

Sin made over a hundred trips from the island to the ship, dropping off the Lunarians, whom they had rescued and who were fast asleep.

He also helped the Marines rescue the other hostages, and, under the guise of killing the avian race, he kept sneaking them away from the eyes of Marines and the Visual Den Den Mushi.

It was not easy to convince the adults though, as a lot of them were mad, burning in rage and vindication, and they had already killed dozens of Marines by targeting them from the sky.

Sin had to put his Lunarian Rescue Mission on hold when the Marines on the icy field were surrounded by the War Pirates, Lunarians, and their Fishmen forces.

Ragnus was keeping Garp, Aokiji, and Kizaru busy, and Kuma, who was protecting the Marines, was overwhelmed and needed help.

Controlling the Lightning in the sky, he targeted the enemies who intended to drown the Marines by destroying the icy platform they were standing on, and saved hundreds of lives, giving Kuma the opportunity to send away the forces to safety.

Once Yamato and Kujaku entered the battle with a couple of commanders inside the Iron Paradise, Sin sneaked Bonney away to the Black Pearl.

And she was very decisive, as she quickly turned every Lunarian onboard into two or three year old toddlers, making them harmless enough to keep them under control.

Thankfully, he had taken out Rosita first, which had broken free a lot of mind slaves from her control.

The mothers wanted nothing more than to keep their children safe, and, under Sin's warning, they were wise enough to behave themselves. A few males were wise too, and they chose to be quiet and cooperate, having realised that they would lose their children in this battle.

Their crew also saved several mermaids and mermen, especially those with kids, but did not bring them to the Black Pearl. Sin left them under the care of the Marines, together with the hostages.

An hour went by, and the battles on the Iron Paradise intensified.

Suddenly, he sensed Bach show up and sneak behind Lily, who was still fighting against Jacko, and he rushed at him.

The man sensed him and tried to return to the fog, but Sin sent out his Conqueror's Haki-infused Lightning Shackles, binding the target, and pulled him right out of the Rainbow Fog that he had suddenly created, sending him flying up into the sky.

Without wasting any time, he electrocuted Bach, who could not even scream as his body was momentarily paralysed despite his use of Armament Haki.

Ragnus raged when he sensed what Sin had just done, but Garp, Kizaru, and Aokiji blocked his path, not letting him rush to the rapist's rescue.

Sin drew out Enma and was about to end Bach's life when he sensed several Seastone Bullets rushing at him, and he was forced to dodge them.

Suddenly, an invisible force slapped him back in the direction of the bullets, and he gritted his teeth and dematerialised his body, turning into Lightning and dispersing.

Bach broke free from the shackles and managed to block his sword with his own, but Sin forced him further up into the sky with the sheer force behind his attack, which rattled the man.

The Left Hand of the Warmonger then unleashed a cloud of Rainbow Fog to hide and protect himself, but since he was in the air, Sin could clearly see the domain.

What the Black now intended to do was a gamble, but thankfully, he had already rescued most of the hostages and children from the Iron Paradise.

"God's Wrath!" He raised his sword into the sky, unleashing Lightning from it, and, when it touched the dark clouds, the night became bright as day as dozens of pillars of Lightning fell at the Rainbow Cloud in the sky.

The gamble did not pay off.

Sin's heart skipped a beat when he sensed his Lightning target people in the Iron Paradise below him, having been directed there by Bach, using the awakened powers of his Shroud Shroud Fruit, and he immediately cut the supply and dispersed the attack.

Narrowing his eyes, he sheathed the sword and then clasped his hands together.

"Divine Prison!" He growled as hundreds of bolts of Lightning, all infused with his Conqueror's Haki, surrounded the Rainbow Cloud, and then he slowly started pushing it, shrinking it.

At the same time, he also surrounded himself in a similar cage to guard against that telekinetic attack that Desco had used against him.

He did possess a Devil Fruit, and Sin now knew what it was.

Bach was not expecting him to pull off something so outrageous and taxing, and, at the very last moment, he somehow still managed to switch places and move to the Rainbow Fog surrounding the Iron Paradise.

Sin's face turned dark at that, and his eyes went cold.

Killing Bach was already tough, but capturing him alive was even more tricky. This Devil Fruit was giving him a headache now.

Just as he was trying to locate the man, he felt goosebumps all over his body, and he instinctively dematerialised into Lightning and rushed up.

Ragnus had somehow appeared right in front of him, from the remnants of the Rainbow Cloud he had expelled Bach from, and the man swung his sword, sending a terrifying air slash at the Marine Fleet, and then charged right at them, ignoring Garp and the two Admirals who were chasing him.

At the very last moment, Ragnus jumped into the Rainbow Fog, and then dozens of powerful attacks came out and attacked the Marines from all sides.

There was no way for them to deal with all, but, when they despaired, hundreds, if not thousands, on the brink of death, pillars of Lightning fell from the sky and intercepted those attacks.

People raised their heads and looked up, and they found a Lightning Spirit, dazzling in the night, almost like a god, and they reverently stared at the figure.

The Black, much to Tsuru's confusion, suddenly rushed back to Iron Paradise like a shooting star.

Even she had not yet realised what kind of a danger they were truly in right now.
