Air combat is what she was showing me, when mother came down after droping the new eggs month ago i expected her to be hard to persuade to teache me anything, but when she walked in to the almost empty nest with me standing in wait of her asking her for some teaching, she give me the most tooth filled smile ever not even Keristrasza made one so intimidating and she tried.
and so she agreed to teache me and her way was even more painfull then teachers it gotten to a point wher i become regular in Nefarions labs potion making list yea he hade a list of welps and drakes to make potions for turns out he realized knowledge is power and used well gave him even more fame and comand over broods then fear and intimidation ever could much to his joy...
As i try to make same turn for the eight time i finally make it turning 180 in near instance i hear mother from my side "hah that's it you done well today Ancalagon we will end it hir for now" mother sounded happy but i cant tell if it's dragon being happy or old gods eyeing new promising pawn in her head.
we land down near broods cave wher mother will stay until new brood is done with ther test...
"thank you for your time Mother" i speak to her while bowing my head to her, when i rise i see a smile plaster on her snout just as any black she loves to be treated as a superior after all.
mother dos not speak back to me just turns around and leaves for her rest as i am about to turn and go two i hear thunder in the distance that got me to stop and turn to the sound, ofc tunder would not give me stop if not for 3 things 1 it's bright ass summer day 2 only storm clouds are coming from behind wards 3 and this worried me the most mother stoped two.
She turn her head in to the distance and clouds in it giving it deep long soul searching gler, after a moment she turn back to cave and murmured something to her self that i managed to pick up on.
"we need to do it now" was what she said as she walked in cave leaving me worried about what she plans to do fight wyrms of red and god knows what else is ther right now?.
To be fair if Keristrasza is only brood mother or wyrm present on ther side then this could be a win for us after all we got mate of aspect with us teacher and 4 other brood mothers that i seen on my name day and most of ther blood line hir right now with new broods and drakes in making but still it's mostly kids or sub adolts not an army.
as i ponder mother next move i see clouds turn in to a proper storm coming to us looking at it one thing comes to my mind if i cant find out what mother has on her mind maybe i can find out what red's plan.
With my mind made up i spread my wings and with one powerfull wave of them i take to the air making my way to the wards, as i fly by i see other welps and drakes full of worry about this sudden storm even Teacher came about to take a look and he dos not look happy but much to my surprise he dos not just turn and leave to his cave this time but takes to air and fly by me giving me a fast look over as he came close and then fly behind me making his way to the vulcano.
Coming closer and closer to wards i can feel air become full of magic the closer i get to the storm, flying up to same hight i was during my first meating with Keristrasza i start to look around hoping to find some traces of reds to know what to expect coming down with fire on us.
But 30min of looking have past and i still could not spot a damn scale in that storm as it continue to get close i get put off from my idea after all they will hide in that cloud and it is still far i dont have even spark of hope to spot anything hir right now.
Turning around i fly by to home cave wher rest of my brood should be as i fly i notice that isle full of welps and drakes in full panic mode just moment ago looks empty now... no sounds of panic no drakes in air or ground just sound of winds getting louder with coming storm.
As i reach my destination i become increasingly worried the home cave was empty but full of marks and smells that my kin was hir not so long ago, as i make my way in deeper i call out to my brood mates "Onyxia!.....Nefarian!....Wher are you guys!?" when i make my way half way to cave my Danger sense gos off and i turn to the entrance of the cave teeth bared only for me to hide them when i spot who it was in the entrance.
"Onyxia!" i called out in surprise but happy tone giving her a wide grin "wher are the guys they should be hir" i asked her and waited for her response not fully leting my gourd down after all denger sense still buzzed for me hir.
her response was only for her to look at me but not really something about her eyes was not right it was as if she bearly recognized me as she looked at me ther was no small smile on her snout as most of time she seen me and her body was stiff as if expecting to ponce at any moment.
she did not spoke for a good 5s but it felt like years she just looked at me...threw me if i was still a Human i would sweat enough to fill this cave by now over how tense the atmosphere got "Onyx-"
"Mother was looking for you Ancalagon" i was cut of by Onyxia speaking but her voice was empty no emotion in it at all.
"And wher is mother?" i asked my worried voice full opposite of her computer like one
"in the vulcano with the teacher and our brothers even you friend Noxarion is ther with us come brother we are waiting only on you now" she said for first time showing some hint of emotion in her voice and lax in moment as she turned around waving for me to follow...
