Arriving at the empty white space, Alex immediately attempted to split his focus between here and back in his real body where he was.
If he were to ever have to use this space in a dangerous situation, he couldn't just leave his body out there without any supervision.
Since it was a simple case of splitting consciousness, he had done it enough times to not find it difficult. Still, he felt as though he was being stretched thin when he did that here.
'I should get better with practice,' Alex told himself.
With the consciousness in his body, he focused his attention on his Dantian where the mix of his Qi and his unique energy lay. Compared to his Qi, the amount of his unique energy was almost nothing. But the 'almost nothing' was more than enough for what he wanted to do.
'Can't waste any time. Just being here uses some of the energy,' Alex thought with a sigh and proceeded to ask the question.
