"Don't hurt her, she's mine," Lia growled out, a little too sudden to the point that Nik had to look around to see if their youngest had become an animal, or maybe it was one of the men claiming ownership of Mia, because how the fuck was this even possible?
"Beth?" Nik let out, but stopped when he saw that Lia was headed for the man who was still holding onto Mia. For a tiny woman, she sure had the courage of a thousand men because in the same voice, she repeated the same words, making the team leader sigh.
"Quit the theatrics. We were told not to harm you, and you're here pretending to be all mighty. Save us the trouble, little girl. Nikolai, you can follow us," the team leader said and Nik just smiled, "sure thing, brother. But I would listen to her if I were you though."
"I said, she's mine. She betrayed me and has to pay for it with her life. Now if you want me to go with you, give her to men, and when I'm done with her, we can go along," Lia said.
