He broke the silence, running towards me, he'd almost slide through the air and across the ground. He let his sword drag, digging up the ground behind him. With a step between us he swung his sword. Turning my own sword to the flat side once again, I would block. The force was too much though, and I'd be tossed over all the rubble and shards, even falling into the mix.
Knowing I had no time to spare, I tried to quickly standup, but my body wouldn't move. I was completely numb. Forcing myself up though, black blood would seep from my mouth and nose, I was seeing doubles. Slowly getting up he'd charge, and with no other option, I fell back into the dark.
He wouldn't hesitate, instead he'd sprint in Jane's direction. I'd stumble out of the dark and he'd notice. Turning he tossed his sword with such force; the ruins blew away in a hurricane like wind. Unable to do anything, not even block, the sword cut through me and lodged itself in my right shoulder, resting in my shattered ribcage.
