Synopsis
Stories are the most important part of every footballer's life. It not only tells them where they come from but also where they are headed. Some people even go on to say that your story is a connection between your past and your future. Micheal Owen: I don't really know if it's true though, but what I do know is that no matter how small or insignificant that story is, it could lead you to the top of the world, to the ends of the Earth, to the back of the alley or in front of the crowd. Thierry Henry: The world of football over the past few decades has met with some amazing talents, people who have helped it grow and people who have made it fall. Ian Wright: No matter who you are or where you come from, always remember that your stories and dreams carry the sacred meaning of your origin and destination. Peter Drury: Now all that's left to ask is.....               What is your story??

Chapter 1 - PROLOGUE: WHAT IS YOUR STORY??

In a vast wasteland filled with tales of an ancient time gone by and covered by layers of golden sand shining in the reflective light of the sun. The desert looks rather undisturbed and uninteresting, passing by in the peaceful gleam of time.

A wild critter born in the unforgiving wasteland skitters across the sand, it's nose pointing downwards in search of its next meal. It reaches a point in the sand and stops, hesitating for a moment before it starts digging, it's mouth watering as it imagines the soft, crispy taste of it's next meal.

It doesn't take too much time before it finds a hand buried deep within. The critter squeals in delight, running closer to take a bite not expecting that same hand to move suddenly and strangle it and eventually kill it.

The hand comes out of the sand and into the sun followed by the rest of the humanoid shaped figure. His dishevelled hair is fashioned in an old greece hairstyle and he is adorned in a dirty white robe and a few torn leafs.

The figure hastily pats at himself as if checking for any missing pieces before finally sighing.

"That old fogey almost did a number on me but luckily I survived, I need to level up my faith and fast or else… " his body couldn't help but shiver.

He reaches his hand up to the air and presses something in the air, silence reigns for a while and a tumbleweed deems it the right time to roll across the sand, but not long after another entity lands in the wasteland.

"Hercules, why did you call me to this place?" the Android looks around in a confused manner.

"System, are there any pilots available right now?" Hercules asks hurriedly

"Well… there is one left but he isn't the best though, his talent placement is mediocre currently. I'm actually surprised he's even in the rankings" System stoic face doesn't change but his voice pitches a little bit higher.

"That low, huh?" Hercules looked depressed. Today really isn't the best of days for him.

He was getting a 'leftover' as a pilot after being unconscious for so long and to top it all off….. he almost got bitten by a rat.

"He does have a high potential, he will probably just need a lot of practice" the system finishes.

"Alright, I've made up my mind, sign me up for that kid and call me when he has agreed to sign the contract" Hercules said clenching his fist.

I'll make sure that old man doesn't look down on me any longer...
