Brando looked at Sed, and Sed looked at Brando.
Their gazes met in the air, locking eyes.
After a few seconds of staring, Brando's face still held an expression of disbelief. He turned his head to look at the longsword deeply embedded in his shoulder and asked Sed, "You... you want to kill me?!"
"If I really wanted to kill you, this sword would have pierced through your head, not your shoulder," Sed said coldly. "But this is the final warning. I warned you before, if you disobey orders and follow, don't blame me for being rude; this is the price you should pay."
"But I've already found evidence that proves my innocence!" Brando said, clutching the wound on his shoulder, his expression twisted, unsure if it was from anger or pain.
