"This isn't good,"
Salvatore lookd over the map of the city with a glass of whiskey in his hand, he had the new sprawled over his monitors with the map of the city projected on his desh small but he could still see how busy in the city, he sipped his whiskey watching the city seeing the active scene of civilians to the police keeping watch over the gang activity thats been sky rockting for the past couple mouths. he saw the police chancing a group when he heard a knock at him door. He looked up from his projection,
"It's open,"
Salvatore placed his whiskey down as the door opened, Damien walked in with Sandel looming over his shoulder, she glanced over the room seeing the white haired dog laying in front of Salvatore's desk sleeping snoring as it huffed glancing at them as if they're a nascence. Damien didn't look at the dog, didn't pay it no mind while Sandel observed the big dog with a lively chuckle,
"Such a sassy thing he is,"
"I guess so,"
Damien muttered peering at the dog seeing it roll its eyes at him, Damien let out a huff walking to Salvatore, seeing the older man sipping his whiskey while watching the projection until Damien stood in front of his desk near the dog,
"You're watching again, Salvatore?"
Damien walked to the chair, sitting in it with Sandel moving down his arm. Salvatore moved in his chair, swirling his whiskey, and he saw the stare Damien had. Concerned but not what Salvatore has in mind but what he walked in with. Damien had his ankle on his knee, moving his arm to the desk and letting Sandel move on it,
"Im just watching the city. The crime activity is skyrocketing worse than when it was Mórrígan"
Salvatore and Damien watched the projection, the cars moving fast down the highway with there lights on, the city skyscrapers glowing with light with some having it as glowing red, Salvatore could all most smile at the site when he hears Damien say,
"She was there again watching him,"
Salvatore peered at him from the projection his eyes filled with concern, He's heard that she has been in the er watching over Marcello's body since he got there, taking care of him as she did his work for him. Salvatore moved, sitting up leaning on his desk,
"After coming back, she's watching him?"
"She told me she just wanted to see him, but me and Sandel I were able to convince her to rest,"
"I'm surprised you were able to do that it took me and Ally last time to pull her out,"
Sandel moved closer to him her elegant voice made a small shift in the room more lighter but filled with concern. She flickers in the room, the fan moving her,
"Yes, i remember that she wasn't so amused by being told to get her ass home, i quote."
Salvatore chuckle remembering the look Avalon face, the glaring silver eyes always seems to cause a shiver down his spin as Ally stared at him unamused before telling him to grow a pair, Salvatore huffed leaning on his cheek, "Dont remind me Sandel,"
"Well, it how it went Salvatore, she was reluctant but left after we talked with her... Everything around her, what's happening with my kind, and the gangs around here have been having a tole,"
Salvatore nods staring at Sandels moving flame she moved towards the projection, seeing the city but the dark thing looming behind it as well, Sandel would feel a shiver thought her spine if she had one, She observed the darkness while Salvatore agreed with her,
"It has taken a tole. The city government has been calling us since Blake appeared again they haven't stopped demanding more answer,"
"They have a right to know," Damien muttered watching them as he huffed leaning back in the chair, "But i don't think they will understand that your son has a angel in him with a deal to take souls of other causing this as a answer,"
Salvatore stared at him, wondering if he should be amused or frustrated, Salvatore let out a sigh, nodding with Sandel form flickered, her calm voice reached them,
"Salvatore, you might not be able to tell them about the angel and the deals... but you can tell them about the gangs, can't you? the powers and angel can be told when they understand it,"
"I've told then of the gangs what their leaders are,"
His eyes down cast to the ground as he finished. "They questioned me about Blake. i told them what they wanted and more, so far,"
Sandel and Damien noticed the look in his eyes the hidden guilt he felt for his son. Damien lean forward incoherently scaring the dog out of there dream, the dog moved up his head his hair messy as he looked at Damien with a huff rolling there eyes going back to sleep, Damien glanced at the dog to then look back at Salvatore his gaze more stern,
"And it bothered you, Sal?"
Salvatore didn't want to meet his gaze for the moment. He moved his fingers, feeling finicky, his leg a slight bounce showing his anxiety of this topic,
"It did...to me my son has been dead for almost four years now, for them to want me to not talk about it but to tell them what hes doing now, it teared that old wound open again letting it become worse,"
"Thats what talking about things of that ilk does sometimes hurt more then the first time the wound was made Salvatore, I'm sorry that happened however, if they know about there...career then why have they only let you and your organization handle there activity?"
"Because we are their field agents in this circumstances. Thats is how they consider us but after Avalon, Ally and Coille came back they are more concerned about our predicament, wanting to send in some of there agents to take over our assignment, but I've told them if they think they can do it better then us, try,"
Salvtore looked over the projection, "But they didn't want to just yet after they saw what gangs here were like and the incident almost three years ago,"
Damien nods remembering that flash of light searing the sky and clouds around it, there screams echoing through the blistering wind as they watched them disaper, Damien heard Sandel humming taking his attention, "They want you to handle it for now?"
"Yes, they do tell me that in person,"
Salvatore sipped his whiskey right when Sandel tells them, "Then you know that Bal will be the next one Blake will go to, we need to eithier take Bal and his angel hostage stopping them..."
Sandel flame grew with her next words, making the room feel hotter like a furneaus, "We let Blake finish his deals. the oaths,"
Salvatores eyes widen as Damein held his breathed they both stare at Sandel to be stunned to speak, and Salvatore moved his hand closer to her as he muttered,
"Let my son finish the oaths. The oath you told me could have his soul stolen by one of these Dons Sandel?"
"I'm not saying that he wouldn't let that happen, Blake for some time has been influenced by Peter but now its entirely different, he's playing the game in charge of it all while Peter is supporting him, for what i know not of. All i know is not for our any good,"
"Sandel letting him complete the last oaths isn't good you, and i both know that,"
Damien interjected, getting up from his chair, walking slowly to the sentient, fire his working hand in his pocket,
"I agree Damien...however is this is what Blake wants so badly then for now let him have it..I'm not sure Avalon will be ready to fight Bal just, yet she needs time and Blake has been persistent he will want Bals oath soon...maybe to soon,"
As Damien and Salvatore heard Sandel reasoning there hearts clench, Salvatore clenched his fist as he recalled when they came back Avalon denied any treatment, she pointed at Ally and Coille before she gets treated she walked past him, her hair covering her eyes he couldn't see how much pain she felt or what she was really feeling. Damien stared at Sandel his eyes softened just slightly with a stiff nod,
"Sandel, once again we agree, i don't think that Avalon's ready to fight much less stratigaze. She's drained just like us,"
"Sandel, you're right she needs time, but having to let Blake finish what he started, it's dangerous, and you know that,"
"I know how dangerous we might be is something we know not of,"
Damien looked at her cathoius, Sandel didn't even know what would happen if he finished the oaths? Damien moved closer, his voice a harsh mutter as his crimson eyes stared at her fire,
"Sandel, you dont know what will happen when he finishes this?"
"No, i do not. I've never seen it before. Five angels in an oath are unheard of to me, much less in heaven. It would have been seen as a horror."
Salvatore let out a mutter, scaring the two of them. "Then what happens to them when that oath breaks leaving them with it all? The angels. The souls. All of it?"
