Later, however, the ambush was on. Only two of them emerged from the shadows, eyes locked on their target.
"Vein Magic: Hundreds Strike of Ivy!"
A venomous garden bloomed in an instant—hundreds of sharp, poisonous vines burst from the ground, all targeting Lourrie. They scratched and attacked the hero, drawing blood but failing to inject their lethal toxins. Recognizing the need for immediate response, not wanting to give her opponent a moment to recover, Wednesday changed tactics. Her own arms twisted and hardened into thick, living veins, which she immediately used to engage Lourrie in close combat.
While Wednesday pressed the attack, Candy was halfway through forming her colossal, nine-foot monster of solidified honey. The moment Wednesday was finally struck down, the massive, viscous construct was complete, and Candy unleashed it upon the noble hero.
"Honey Magic: Acid Pool!" Candy chanted, following the monster's assault with a direct strike.
