The other races in the outpost began noticing strange patterns.
Beastkin clerks, dwarven blacksmiths, elven travelers, and even a few draconic people , the Wyvernians sensed something curious. Goblins approached them silently and whispered through rune tokens that hovered in the air. The messages were short.
The humans from the Yong and Qing clans were bullies.
They insulted without reason.
They abused non human travelers.
They persecuted goblins, elves, beastkins, and dwarves alike.
And a human named Lin Mu stood against them.
Soon enough, strange individuals began lingering outside the Yong clan gates. Some were beastkin with fur bristling. Some were dwarves with their hammer belts tightened. Some were elves with cold eyes. Some were even ogres in disguise.
By the fifth day, the clans of Yong and Qing were marked by goblin symbols that could attract trouble without anyone understanding why.
