The training ground had become almost unrecognizable.
Broken stones covered the earth.
Several trees had been cut in half, their trunks lying across the grass. Thin trails of darkness still drifted through the air before gradually dissolving beneath the crimson evening sky.
Luna stood in the middle of the destruction, breathing heavily.
Her sword remained firmly in her hand.
Across from her, Orpheus looked almost untouched.
That alone was enough to irritate her.
Luna narrowed her eyes.
"Again."
Orpheus raised an eyebrow.
"We've been fighting for hours."
"Then one more."
"You said that three matches ago."
"And I meant it every time."
He laughed quietly.
"Fine."
Luna lowered her stance.
The moment she did, darkness gathered around her feet.
This time, however, she didn't immediately attack.
She waited.
Orpheus noticed.
"You're learning."
Luna smiled.
"You're talking too much."
She disappeared.
A black streak crossed the battlefield.
Orpheus blocked.
CLANG!
