Mio's lips tingled from where Claude had just stolen a quick, yet impossibly sweet kiss. She blinked at him, eyes wide, cheeks a soft fire of pink. "Where did my cold, indifferent husband go?" she demanded, voice half-exasperated, half-incredulous. "The one who used to disappear into his office, acting like a walking glacier, and now… now you're—" she waved a hand at his bare chest, "shirtless and needy!"
Claude grinned, a devilish sparkle in his eyes, and closed the distance between them. "Needy?" he repeated, feigning offense. "Mio, I've always been this devoted. You just never noticed."
Mio scoffed, crossing her arms, trying to regain her composure. "Devoted? You mean clingy. And since when did my husband become the human equivalent of a sunbeam?" Her gaze drifted down to his toned torso, and she quickly snapped it back up, trying to hide the blush creeping across her face. "You're… insufferable."
