Bloody Chariot felt extremely nervous.
He tried to charge up his energy, but he was too hurt to do it.

Bloody Chariot didn't speak. He is too vigilant. In fact, the wounds only made him want to resist them more.
If he was at least in a fit condition, he could be confident about getting out of the situation if things go south.
