The water pillar moved like a snake.
Even though it didn't have eyes, bloody chariot felt a gaze on him as the tip of the pillar faced him. It seemed to have hesitated, almost teasing him… as if it could come at any time, but is refusing to do so, just to toy with him.
Bloody Chariot after so long, felt like praying. If not for the fact that he knew the gods won't do shit, he might have actually prayed.
After what felt like an eternity, the water pillar went back into the sea.
Bloody Chariot only heard the sound of the waves and the breeze at the moment.
His panting slowed down and within a few seconds, he fell unconscious.
A man who was feared more than death itself, back in the academy realm, was now lying helpless on the sands of an unknown beach.
Even Bloody Chariot, with all his humility that he pretends to show, would have laughed at the notion of this.
