When she made it to work she was greeted by the bartender at the door. The bar wasn't very packed yet since it was early. Only a few people sat at some tables in the far back.
She went to the back room and got changed. She wore the same dress she'd wear in America. An elegant black dress with short heels. A pianist was supposed to looks graceful and elegant.
She looked in the mirror and did her hair. She tied it into a low bun and applied some makeup.
By the time she finished, the bar had started to become crowded like the night before. She sat at the piano and started to play.
As she played, her finger flew across the keyboard creating beautiful music. The bars environment was lively. People enjoyed food and drinks while music tickled their ears.
A smile formed on her face. This was her dream. To bring people joy.
In the corner of the bar, a man watched her with a group of his friends.
His eyes scanned her up and down. A sinister smile forming on his face.
"She's pretty isn't she brother Shen?"
Shen Xui looked the girl on the piano, he noticed her immediately when he came in. I mean how could he not, she was quite a beauty. Her fair skin shone under the light of the stage and her red lips were enticing.
"Very." He chuckled.
Shen Xui ordered another drink and watched Li Hua.
The night ended and it was time for her to go home. After talking with the bartender for a while. She gathered her things and went to the back to get changed. She was exhausted and couldn't wait to go to sleep.
When she left the room and was about to leave someone grabbed her arm.
She quickly turned around and came face with a very attractive man. She would be lying if she said he wasn't handsome but she had absolutely no interest in him.
"Yes?" She asked as she tugged her arm away.
Surprised by her actions Shen Xui was taken aback but he quickly composed himself again.
"Let me get the door for you." He smiled as he reached for the door.
Seeing this Li Hua felt uneasy. The way he looked at her gave her the creeps.
Without waiting a second later and with the door open Li Hua quickly walked out.
"Thank you." She said as she made her way to the street. She was about to flag down a taxi when the man appeared again.
"Let me give you a ride home. My cars just down the road."
"No thank you. I'm perfectly fine with a taxi."
At the same time a taxi pulled up and Li Hua quickly got in and left.
Being left on the side of the road Shen Xui felt angry. He had never been turned down before. He may not have been belonged to a well off family but he was quite the catch.
"Bro Shen are you ok?" His friend from earlier asked.
Seeing the spot where Li Hua had left he inwardly smiled.
"Of course."

In the taxi, Li Hua let out a sigh of relief.
'What a weird guy'
She brushed her hand through her hair and looked out the window. She looked at all the passing lights and people.
Was he still here? She hadn't heard from him in so long. Her mind wondered to the past 7 years. The past 7 years of silence. All except for one letter.
Thinking about it she shook her head. The past is meant for the past. She had to look forward.

It was a very hectic day for Su LingTian. He had 3 important meetings discussing upcoming projects and developments. It seemed like the day wouldn't end.
He was in the middle of signing paperwork when he had a knock on the door.
"Come in."
Assistant Jiang walked in with a worried look on his face.
"Mr. Su, your parents have called again."
Hearing this Su LingTian looked up from his paperwork and sighed. Recently his parents had been been very adamant on him getting married. However he had no interest in relationships. His parents didn't understand so they would constantly call him with different options.
"I see."
Assistant Jiang walked towards his desks and gave him a cup of coffee. "I told them that you were busy and you would call them back later."
"Thank you."
Sipping the coffee he felt his mood slightly lighten.
"Have you looked into what I asked you to?"
"Yes."
"And?"
Assistant Jiang breathes in slightly "Yes, it seems Ms. Li has returned to China. It's been a week."
Hearing this, he almost dropped his pen. She was
really back? So was that girl earlier actually her?
The very idea of seeing her again excited him.
Assistant Jiang looked at Su LingTian. He had never seen his boss smile before. The sight scared him.
