deep within the forest on a large mound made of trees was a simple throne where a large fat 'man' sat and from the protruding green veins, fang-filled mouth, and small branches coming from his left shoulder, it was pretty obvious that he wasn't human as the dish that was prepared in front of him on a table made from small trees was the head of a baby that was half-eaten.
then around him were four people three maids and a chef that for some odd reason his left leg was a twisted trunk, as the there shivered from the sight of the monster in front of them was savoring the head of the chef's son.
Gufu gufu laughed the fat 'man' before he commented about the humans he had found using his trees.
"It seems like the forest found its next ingredients."
the monster was drooling at the thought of eating more humans as their God commanded them to lay waste to the lands of humans for one reason... thieves wreaked havoc at the dragon god's favorite restaurant and killed the chef.
it was that simple just because of one simple mistake of a thief the rest of the humans are suffering just because the god decided out of their tantrum of no longer being able to eat their favorite snack, fucking petty assed gods if you ask me.
the fat 'man' continued as he leaned back bragging about his forest
"[the wriggling tree shade] by making the bottom half of the great tree into a dragon, the branches and leaves block out the sunlight, creating a walking tree, gufu gufu, my adorable 'hounds' protect me from sunlight and collect my 'ingredients', such an easy life, no?"
the fat 'man' squinted at the four people that were shaking in fear as the 'man's' belly growled again for more food even after just finishing the previous dish.
the chef then spoke.
"S-Sorry to keep you waiting, sir melgubde"
he gulped as this was his last chance to appease the 'man' so that he can live another day before continuing.
"I-I've brought your meal. A cooked lamb pie wrap."
The large 'man' looked down as the dish before sniffing the air as the aroma was enticing for the maids, as well as they all, gulped audibly from hunger, and fear.
The 'man' moved quite elegantly despite his size and ate away the new dish the people around him looked at this with hope as they will either live or die depending on the taste the wait was slowly eating away at their patience as they all wanted to shout 'well how is it!?' but they held themselves back as they understood what would happen should they be dumb enough to do so.
the wait was strenuous as the sound of this monster's chew was putting them on the edge until he said with a light blush and a smile.
"Delicious! the spring vegetables splendidly mask the unpleasant flavors in the meat, It goes excellently with the sauce as well! Gufu gufu.
the Chef was happy as were he maids as they all relaxed a sigh of relief the chef was feeling proud of his work at the moment replied with a stutter.
"Th-thank you very much! in that case..."
But then The head of the large man suddenly expanded before its larger maw full of sharp chomped down tearing apart the chef's upper body which stood up for a moment then fell over before the monster stated this!
"ɮʊȶ ɨȶ ɖօɛֆռ'ȶ ʍɛǟֆʊʀɛ ʊք ȶօ ȶɦɛ ȶǟֆȶɛ օʄ ʏօʊʀֆɛʟʄ~"
The maids were in shock due to the sudden change their fear reached higher levels as one of them couldn't help but scream.
"ȶɦɛ ʟɛɢ ɨ ʀɛƈɛɨʋɛɖ ʄʀօʍ ʏօʊ ɛǟʀʟɨɛʀ աǟֆ ʍʊƈɦ ȶǟֆȶɨɛʀ. ֆօ, ǟƈƈօʀɖɨռɢ ȶօ օʊʀ քʀօʍɨֆɛ. ɨ'ʟʟ ɮɛ ɛǟȶɨռɢ ʏօʊ."
the monster slowly ate away at the chef's body as there was no way for the maids to hide because all in all this was simply a game to him he was going to eat them regardless because his god commanded them to do so.
"ƚԋҽ ɠɾҽαƚ ɠσԃ, ƚԋҽ ʅσʋҽ σϝ ʂɯҽҽƚʂ αɳԃ ԃιʂԋҽʂ ɱαԃҽ Ⴆყ ԋυɱαɳʂ αʂ σϝϝҽɾιɳɠʂ..."
"Iƚ αρρҽαɾʂ ƚԋαƚ ƚԋҽ ʅσɯҽʂƚ σϝ ƚԋҽ ϝαɱιʅყ ʅιƙҽ ɱҽ ƈαɳ'ƚ ƈσɱρɾҽԋҽɳԃ ƚԋҽ ƚαʂƚҽʂ σϝ ƚԋҽ ɠɾҽαƚ ɠσԃ."
One of the maids fell to the ground was crying in terror at this monster's actions and words, even more so at the following words.
"ɨȶ ɨֆ ʊռʄօʀȶʊռǟȶɛ, ɮʊȶ ʀɨɢɦȶ ռօա ɨ աɨʟʟ ʀɛʝօɨƈɛ! ɨȶ'ֆ ǟ ɮǟռզʊɛȶ. ȶɦɛ ɮǟռզʊɛȶ աɨʟʟ ɮɛɢɨռ! ǟ ʟǟʀɢɛ ɮǟռզʊɛȶ, օռƈɛ ɛʋɛʀʏ ɦʊռɖʀɛɖ ʏɛǟʀֆ!!!"
Tree branches attacking the humans within reach hauling them while 'breaking' them to make it easier to become ingredients for its master.
Melgubde had already eaten the other two maids as one leg was being munched on before he turned to the last maid that wasn't unable to move due to the situation unable to run nor hide much less fight back.
so what the hell was she to do?
the monster stood in front of her as a bunch of tendrils emerged from its chest as it drew closer to the unfortunate maid.
"ɢօɖ"
He towered over her small and shivering frame.
"ɦǟֆ ֆǟɨɖ ȶօ ɖɛֆȶʀօʏ ȶɦɨֆ ƈօʊռȶʀʏ."
he was staring her down as his mouth split vertically at the jaw exposing another set of fangs that wanted to sink into the woman.
"ɨռ օȶɦɛʀ աօʀɖֆ,"
It grabbed hold of her before it lifted her above the monster as it's chest opened up like a blooming flower, however, it wasn't beautiful petals that were there but a bunch of dagger-like teeth that were connected to the monster's mouth!
"ɨȶ ʍɛǟռֆ ɨȶֆ օӄǟʏ ȶօ ɛǟȶ ɛʋɛʀʏ ʟǟֆȶ ɦʊʍǟռ ɨռ ȶɦɛ ƈօʊռȶʀʏ!!!"
At this moment a bunch of blips had appeared from the skies before all sorts of elements rained down upon the trees and something came storming down!
this made Melgubde surprised due to the amount of magic there was as a grey figure was charging at him!
In a slight panic, the large 'man' yelled out as he was interrupted during his meal.
"OI, STOP! YOU, GREY ONE! THIS IS PRIVATE LAND YOU KNOW!?"
He tried maintaining a domineering tone.
"ANY MORE DESTRUCTIVE ACTIONS WON'T BE PERMIT-"
A claw was what met his face as half of it was destroyed on contact!
"-TED!?"
but that wasn't the end as the knowledge of martial arts that the attacker had was useful at this moment as with a simple twist of the whole body to one target can be pretty devastating even more so it the one doing it was an Archfiend.
the force that followed sent the large man flying, crashing through his forest as then more figures began attacking him which he retaliated on the fly with large branches that served to protect his body and some were trying to stop the momentum of his body.
Melgubde was finally able to stop his body and he also got to see what his attackers were they were a bunch of archfiends from wyverns, valkyries, and elven queens what frightened him was they weren't here to simply kill him, no, they wanted to each him as the hunger in their eyes said it all as Superior dragons were a great source of magic and life!
They all gathered their magic then began raining down on him as the smell of his magic lured more of their flock!
