The conversation continued lively until it was time to go home. Ming Mei sat on the back of Zhuang Zhixi's bicycle and remarked, "I feel like I talked just as much today as I usually do when selling tickets. The only difference is that I didn't have to shout."
She leaned against Zhuang Zhixi's back. Zhuang Zhixi said, "It's your first day. Everyone was probably just being extra friendly. It might calm down in a couple of days."
Ming Mei nodded, "Probably."
She swung her legs lightly and said, "I wonder if they've finished cleaning the restroom by now."
Zhuang Zhixi's mouth twitched, but he remained firm, "They must have finished by now. It's the third day. If they haven't finished cleaning a septic tank in three days, that would be too inconsiderate. We're suffering here, and they don't even live nearby. That would be really inconsiderate."
