Ming Mei was transferred to the office to work as a statistician. This internal transfer was not particularly troublesome and was quickly processed. She handed over her work to her predecessor, Little Cui, who seemed quite pleased with the arrangement. Little Cui remarked, "This transfer is such a blessing. I've always wanted to work on the buses."
Little Cui had a mother who was unwell and required medication, as well as children to support, so she naturally wanted to earn more money.
Ming Mei was also happy. She suggested, "You should prepare a larger water bottle and buy some stuff like balloon flower from the pharmacy. Our unit reimburses for these expenses."
