Stratus' duo found themselves surrounded. Renegade was right ahead of them, StormMonster was breathing down their necks, and Laplace was blocking off the side path.
However, we are not yet fully trapped inside the Bermuda Triangle. Vincent realized that amidst the chaos. We will be fully trapped if we chase Renegade any further, but as it stands, we still have a chance to make a break for it.
"Let us retreat!" Vincent suggested. "We might be able to get away if we escape to the right!"
Luke responded with a dry chuckle. "Heh, do you really think they'll let us get away?" It didn't take a genius to see that they were cooked.
But, on second thought, maybe there was some hope. "Actually, you can buff your speed, so you might be able to get away. I'll keep them busy."
"Nani!?" Vincent gasped. "Are you offering to become a sacrificial pawn!? But, dying so early as a Dark Knight practically means that…"
"Yeaaaaah…" Unstable shit like this always feels bad. Luke sighed. If this were the regionals, a situation like this would've cost us the entire tournament. But, even so...!
Luke swung his black sword at Jaiden! He had no intention of going down without a fight!
DK is always high-risk, high-reward. So, as Nash said, there's nothing unusual about any of this. It feels bad when things go wrong, but I've just gotta deal with it.
He was a memer, so there was always something risky or questionable about his picks. But winning against seemingly impossible odds was all the fun!
And, that's why I meme! Luke grinned like a crazed man as he swung his blade again. Winning with a joke class in the most impossible situation, that's the hypest shit ever! I mean, I doubt I can make it happen here, but that won't stop me from trying!
At the very least, his aggressive last stand should distract the enemy enough to give Vincent a chance to escape! It was showtime!
