We are the one who decides the flow of time. As it turns out, Neo, a moment away from killing Corvo, recognizes that part of him, deciding that he and he alone was like her. Her objective? Help Corvo recognize who he truly is so he can start going after what he wants rather than what's expected of him. He wants someone dead? She’ll give him the opportunity. He wants to go to Beacon? She’d already accidentally brought that about in their initial fight. He wants a harem? It might take a little planning depending on who caught his interest but it couldn’t be that difficult to make happen. Even if he was blind to some of his desires, she’d be making sure he got everything he wanted and understood who he truly was. Because they were meant to be. (A/N: This isn't a translation. Luckily, between being born to the perfect parent for his situation and his recently discovered semblance taking on a very familiar form, he might actually have a fighting chance in this new world. The Sharingan was its own brand of overpowered bullshit after all.
