More than a year later, Gao Yang finally saw Uriyangko again, along with Ivan. Uriyangko and Ivan arrived in Ukraine together.
"Oh, brother, you've been through so much hardship."
Uriyangko looked the same as before, smart and capable, dressed in a neat suit, with his slick hair combed meticulously. But he was noticeably thinner, and his skin had turned a ghastly pale.
After giving Uriyangko a tight hug, Gao Yang turned to Ivan with open arms, then said with a face full of emotion, "My brother, it's really been a long time since we last met. You look terrible, but at least you've finally regained your health."
Ivan returned Gao Yang's hug with a sullen expression, then said sadly, "My health's been terrible, a consequence of serious injuries. Still, surviving is better than the alternative, isn't it?"
Ivan was still the same old self, but even thinner than Uriyangko. Gao Yang thought he might weigh no more than sixty kilograms. His skin was equally pale, devoid of any color.
