After walking through a long corridor, making most of a circle, Han Li and the others bypassed the main hall of the Ancestral Temple and directly entered the back hall.
In a hidden secret chamber within the hall, there unexpectedly lay a white stone staircase slanting down into the depths underground.
At the entrance of the staircase, several Secret Guards stood watchfully on guard.
Xu Jiao waved his hand, and the Secret Guards immediately bowed and stepped aside.
The group proceeded into a rather dark staircase.
This passageway was somewhat dim, with a chill occasionally blowing up from below, and on either side, moonlight stones the size of fists were embedded at intervals,
causing the passageway's glow to flicker between light and shadow, resembling an unbra.
Fortunately, the stone steps were not very long, and after a short while, the group emerged into a meticulously designed underground hall.
