In contrast to the simple houses of the ubiquitous poor neighborhoods, a large number of mansions of the wealthy can be found.
Mr. Besong is an ordinary member of the wealthy circle. Yet he has many friends—in the past, Mr. Besong would frequently host pool parties at his home.
Due to their lavish spending, Mr. Besong's friends grew in number—tonight, another gathering was held at Mr. Besong's villa.
But this gathering was completely different from the previous pool parties. All the windows of the villa's hall were closed, and the curtains were drawn.
They didn't turn on the lights, but each person held a three-pronged candlestick, providing enough illumination from the candlelight.
Including Mr. Besong, there were a total of eleven members attending. They wore black robes with hoods that covered their faces.
They stood in a circle, seemingly conducting some mysterious ritual.
"And then?" a voice of doubt sounded from the crowd.
