Sienna stared at her husband in disbelief, trying to process what he had just told her.
"He said he has my father? He detained him?"
"Maybe, but all he said was that he has your father with him," Zachary said with a slight nod.
Sienna lowered her gaze, her thoughts immediately returning to her father's disappearance. She had stopped caring about what happened to her father after everything that had happened in the past. But hearing Riley use her father to pressure Zachary made her deeply uncomfortable.
Anger slowly welled up inside her. It wasn't because Riley had detained her father. More than anything, she was angry because Riley was using her father to threaten Zachary. He was dragging someone from her past into a situation that had nothing to do with him, just to pressure her husband.
Riley was her best friend. At least, he had been. But if he was willing to use her father to harm Zachary, Sienna certainly wouldn't stand by and let him do whatever he wanted.
