Chapter 1 - The Boy Who Chose Light

In a quiet village surrounded by green hills and flowing rivers, there lived a boy named Arin. The Village was simple, but full of life- children played in the fields, elders shared stories under big trees, every evening, the sky turned golden as the sun disappeared behind the mountains.

Arin was one of the happiest boys in the Village. He loved playing games like kabaddi with his friends, running barefoot on the grass, and laughing without any work. His parents were proud of him, and his family believed that one day he would grow into a strong and responsible man.

But as time passed, things slowly began to change.

When Arin entered his teenage years, he started spending more time with a group of boys who were known for their careless behavior. At first, it was just small things - skipping studies, staying out late, ignoring advice. Arin thought it was all fun and freedom.

I'm just enjoying my life," he would say.

But slowly, those "small things" became problems.

He stopped listening to his parents. He began to lose interest in his dreams. The boy who once woke up early with energy now slept late and avoided responsibilities. His laughter became less frequent, and his eyes no longer shined with excitement.

His family notice the change.

His mother would often say, "Arin, this is not who you are. Please come back to your true self".

But Arin ignored her words.

Deep inside, however, he knew something was wrong.

One evening, after a long and tiring day, Arin walked alone to the river near his village. The place was peaceful. The sound of flowing water and the cool Breeze made him feel calm. He sat down on a rock and looked at his reflection in the water.

For a moment, he didn't recognise himself.

"Who have I become?" he whispered.

Memories started rushing into his mind- his childhood days, his family's smiles, his dreams of becoming someone better. He realised how far he had drifted away from the person he once was.

That night, something changed inside him.

For the first time, Arin felt a deep sense of regret.

"I don't want to live like this anymore," he said to himself.

It was a simple decision, but a powerful one.

The next morning, Arin woke up early. The sun had just begun to rise, painting the sky with soft colors. He felt different- stronger, more aware.

But change was not easy.

When he met his old friends, they laughed at him.

"Look at you! Trying to be a good boy now?" they mocked.

For a moment, Arin felt weak. He wanted to go back to his old ways, where everything seemed easy and fun.

But then he remembered that night by the river.

He remembered his promise.

"I'm choosing a different path," he said firmly.

Days passed, and Arin began to rebuild his life.

He started helping his family again. He returned to his studies. He avoided bad company and spent time with people who encouraged him to grow. Sometimes he failed, sometimes he felt tired, but he never give up.

Every day was a battle

A battle between weakness his past and Hi future.

A battle between weakness and strength.

There were nights when he felt like quitting. There were moments when he doubted himself. But each time, he reminded himself why he started.

Slowly, things began to change.

His parents noticed the difference. Their eyes filled with happiness. His mother's smile returned, and his father once again spoke proudly of him.

The same village that once whispered about his downfall now spoke about his transformation.

Arin was becoming stronger - not just physically, but mentally and emotionally.

Months later, Arin stood once again near the same river where everything had changed. The water still flowed gently, just like before. But this time, when he looked at his reflection, he saw someone different.

Someone confident

Someone disciplined.

Someone who had fought his own darkness and chosen light.

He smiled.

He finally understood something important -

Life is not about never making mistakes. It is about learning from them and having the courage to change.

Arin had faced his greatest enemy - himself.

And he had won.
