ROYAL LIFELINE HOSPITAL.
Immediately the call was disconnected the room fell in silence. Efe looked out the window, the sky already dark but the street down stairs seems to burst to life. His ward seemed a little quiet, since he was the only one in it. His men had gone to get him something to eat so he was left alone.
He closed his eyes hoping to rest his mind when a memory of the night after the accident where they where preparing to sleep, then ire began humming. He asked her to sing it for him, he liked the song it gave him unexplainable peace.

And my faith will be made stronger in the presence of my Saviour '. Every word carved in his memory it felt like he was actually there with her. She had a very wonderful voice that just floated with the atmosphere and for some reason he had a good night rest.
He was dazed in his memory that he didn't notice time had already gone by and his men had returned from their assignment.
Abobi gently opened the wards door, only to find his master humming with a smile plastered on his face.
"Hold on! Humming? Smiling? Is this still the tiger's heir we know?" He thought to himself as he walked over to Efe. "There was really a first for everything!" He laughed to himself before adjusting his posture then, he gently tapped Efe.
That gentle tap stirred him awake, only for him to wakeup and find himself in his hospital ward. "Yeah! The place he actually was". He reminded himself, disappointment visible on his face.
Seeing, his masters displeasure rang the alarm Bells for Abobi as he immediately went on his knees. " Master am sorry, I was following orders to make sure you eat before you sleep. Please pardon me I won't make such a mistake again". He rambled on until Efe got tired.
"Enough! I am not angry with you, if you keep on yapping on I might as well grant your wish".Efe stated.
"No master! There would be no need for that". Abobi stated as he wiped off the invisible sweat on his forehead. He then brought the tray over, in it was a wrap of fufu , a richly made oha soup to go with the fufu and a glass of red wine.
Efe took a glance at the items, looking at it alone made him loose his appetite. His mind again drifting to Ire, he hasn't heard a word from owiwi. How is would she be doing? Would she be hungry since they had not eaten for a while?
" Take it away? It's to heavy!" He said lightly and the food was immediately taken away while a bowl of pap filled with milk and less sugar, was brought over .
He accepted the meal but not with the intention of taking anything serious. As he was about to take a bite one of his men walked in with some documents in hand.
" Master! Your uncle has started making moves. He is slowly manipulating by slowly fixing his people in important positions in the head quarters, He has hired an assassin to finish the work immediately when you are discharged, chief sanusi also isn't giving the authorities an easy time with their investigation, am guessing soon he would be free from their custody ". He stated.
"Hmmm! My uncle wants to play, good let's play along. It's time I put them in place." Efe declared, his gaze distant but his eyes couldn't hide his mischief.

Ire looked at the passing scenery, her mind buzzing with questions. She didn't know what to do again. After owiwi escaped with her, he gave her some food and informed her escape was planned by Efe himself. Which made her wonder? " What was really happening? Who was Efe actually? Why was anything connected to her". It seems like he was already prepared for the kidnap like he knew it was going to happen. Why the games? Why the secrecy? She couldn't relate more with owiwi and his men since they where Efe's hench men.
Lost in thoughts a flash of light caught her attention it was at a distance by a bush.
" Stop!" She screamed and immediately the vehicle came to a screeching stop. She didn't know what compelled her but deep down she felt curious to

"What? Why did you tell us to stop?" Owiwi asked.
"I saw someone flash a light. I think they are in trouble". Ire said opening the door and running out before anyone could react.
Owiwi wasn't expecting this turn of events and Efe had already cautioned him to watch over her until he returns. So he had to run after her.
Soon she ran into an opening surrounded by a deep casam, what caught her attention was a dense smoke coming from the edge, then a giant demon in form of a giant scorpion surrounded a girl with a flame touch in her hands . "That must be the light I saw?" She thought to herself.
"Ahhhhh! Etiosa we can't keep on holding." A voice came from the Edge. Ire although trembled from the sight wobbled to the edge and there she saw, two guys hanging of to the side of the cliff. It was a really dangerous position and it seemed like one of them was injured.
" This is bad! God please have mercy and preserve their life show me what to do". Ire prayed In her mind,as she observed the monster and the men. Then she caught sight of owiwi's figure as he stood frozen at the sight of the chaos.
She made up her mind and made a step towards his direction when the creature turned towards her direction.
"Light! Must eliminate the light". It's dark, creepy voice echoed through the air . That alone made Ire tremble as goosebumps appeared on her trembling skin.
" Run! Ire" owiwi screamed,as Ire took to her heels and ran as fast as her feet could carry her muttering a prayer as she struggled through the bushes and the demon fast approaching.
"The Lord is My light and my salvation whom shall I fear!" She screamed,Her heart pumping and the ground beneath her feet trembling due to the monsters impact .
"The Lord is the strength of my life of whom shall I be afraid?" She continues as she crawled beneath a fallen branch her heart pounding within her chest.
"When the wicked came against me to eat up my flesh, My enemies and foes they stumbled and fell."
She missed her step and fell to the ground. The hideous creature staring down at her.
"The light! Must eliminate the light?" It sang again as it prepared it's tail ready to stab her.
Meanwhile, just above their heads the clouds gathered and a raging storm began. A violent wind blew, followed by a heavy downpour. Ire went on her knees her eyes sealed shut.
"Though an army may encamp against me, my heart shall not fear, though war may rise against me in this I will be confident." She kept on muttering as the monster swayed it's tail towards her direction then suddenly, a large tree fell towards it's direction.
Separating Ire from the monster, it's loud shriek echoed through the forest as it struggles to lift up the tree, when another fell on it. That didn't stop Ire as she confidently continued.
"One thing I have desired of the Lord that I will seek:
That I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life to behold the beauty of the Lord and to inquire in his temple. For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion; in the secret place of his tabernacle he shall hide me; he Shall set me high upon a Rock". Immediately these words left her lips a large thunderbolt decended from the sky and ignited the trees on top the monster burning it directly.
Once again it's shrieks of pain filled the atmosphere as a wall of dense smoke lifted up the sky.
Owiwi stood in the midst his jaw dropped open, what he just witnessed was more than anything he could have ever seen.
His body drenched from the heavy downpour, his clothes gumed to his body yet his eyes filled with astonishment fixed on Ire's praying figure.
Soon the creature died and it's remains burned with the smoke, then the dark clouds broke by the sun light. It's ray engulfed Ire radiating a peaceful light.
Not long she ended her prayer, then she looked up and spotted owiwi. She looked around only to see the dense smoke. There was no sign of the creature anywhere. Then she recalled the men stuck at a dangerous position beyond the cliff. In anticipation she ran towards that direction pulling owiwi along her way.
When they arrived the two men were already pulled up to safety with the help of owiwi's men but they were seriously injured. So they carried them into the car, owiwi's attitude towards Ire drastically changed as he seemed alot nicer and respectful to her.
Ire looked back at the dense smoke rising to the sky, the breaking dark clouds giving way to clear beautiful skies. The scenery was just beautiful and the memories of what happened here forever will forever be a testimony to her life.

Deep in the forest, hiding in the dark a figure stood still watching the flames of the creature go up to the sky.
"Why didn't you end him?" He asked his voice thick with dissatisfaction.
"Things are now different! He is not the priority". A deep voice echoed through the forest chasing away the birds and alerting the creatures.
"I don't care! You obey me. I want Prince.....ahhhh!..... What...ar..e you do....ing" his speech cut short when he felt a sudden tightness around his throat. He clutch his two hands around his neck as he struggled to breathe.
"You have no right to command me now that I own your body". With said everything went black.
