Chapter 1 - Trapped with a Mafia King

Chapter:1

Siizu was a simple girl…

She didn't have big dreams, nor did she expect much from life. Her world was small — her mother, her studies, and the quiet little space she called her own.

She had always been different from others.

While people around her enjoyed noise, laughter, and attention… Siizu preferred silence. She liked sitting alone, thinking about nothing, yet feeling everything.

Her heart was soft… too soft for this world.

She could feel pain in people's eyes, even when they smiled. And maybe that's why she often stayed away — because she knew, one day, that pain could become hers too.

But she never knew…

that day would come sooner than she expected.

It was an ordinary evening.

The sky was painted in shades of orange and pink as the sun slowly disappeared. Siizu was sitting near her favorite place — a quiet corner by the lake.

That place was her escape.

Whenever life felt heavy, she would come there and just sit… watching the water, feeling the breeze.

That day too… she was alone.

Or at least… she thought she was.

"Why do you always sit here alone?"

A deep voice suddenly broke the silence.

Siizu turned around, slightly startled.

A boy was standing behind her.

Tall… calm… and strangely intimidating.

There was something about him that felt different.

His presence was strong… almost overwhelming.

"I… I just like this place," Siizu replied softly, avoiding eye contact.

The boy stepped closer and looked at the lake.

"People don't usually come here for peace," he said. "They come here to hide."

His words were simple… but they hit deep.

Siizu looked at him again.

For a moment… their eyes met.

And in that moment…

she felt something she couldn't explain.

After that day…

he started appearing more often.

At first, it felt like coincidence.

Then… it started to feel like destiny.

They began talking.

Small conversations turned into long talks.

Silences between them didn't feel awkward… they felt comforting.

He never told her much about himself.

No name.

No past.

No details.

And strangely… Siizu never asked.

Because for the first time in her life…

she felt understood.

Days turned into weeks.

And weeks turned into something more.

Siizu started waiting for him every day.

Her quiet evenings were no longer empty… they were filled with his presence.

He would sit beside her, sometimes talking… sometimes just watching the water.

And somehow…

that was enough.

"You trust people too easily," he once said.

Siizu smiled faintly.

"Not people… just you."

He looked at her… silently.

There was something in his eyes that day…

something heavy… something broken.

But before she could understand it…

he looked away.

Slowly…

Siizu's heart changed.

She didn't realize when it happened.

She didn't plan it.

But she felt it.

She had fallen in love.

He cared about her in ways no one ever had.

He noticed things others ignored.

Her silence… her sadness… her little smiles.

If she was upset, he would know.

If she was happy, he would quietly watch her… as if her happiness was enough for him.

To Siizu…

he became her world.

Her peace.

Her happiness.

Her everything.

But…

some truths are hidden for a reason.

And some people…

are not meant to be trusted.

One night…

everything changed.

The sky was dark. The streets were empty.

There was a strange heaviness in the air.

Siizu was waiting for him… as always.

But that night…

he was late.

Very late.

She felt uneasy.

Her heart kept telling her that something was wrong.

So… she decided to look for him.

As she walked through the quiet streets…

she saw something.

Something that made her stop.

Her breath caught in her throat.

Her heart froze.

It was him.

Standing under a dim light.

His hands…

covered in blood.

His shirt… stained.

His face… cold. Emotionless. Dangerous.

Like a completely different person.

Siizu's legs trembled.

Her voice shook as she whispered,

"Y-you… what is this…?"

He slowly turned towards her.

Their eyes met.

But this time…

there was no warmth.

No softness.

Only darkness.

In that moment…

Siizu realized something she never wanted to believe.

The boy she loved…

was hiding a truth far more dangerous than she could ever imagine.

And maybe…

she had already fallen too deep to escape.
