Chapter 15 - The Nature of the Wise

The truly wise are not always easy to recognize.

They do not announce their wisdom. They do not seek attention or admiration. Instead, they move quietly, with a depth that is felt rather than seen.

Their actions are careful, like someone walking across a frozen river—aware of each step, attentive to the present moment. They are not reckless, but neither are they rigid. They remain adaptable, like water flowing through changing terrain.

Their minds are clear, but not overly sharp. Their presence is calm, but not passive. They do not rush to conclusions or force their opinions.

Instead, they observe.

They listen.

They wait.

This patience gives them insight.

Because while others react impulsively, the wise respond thoughtfully. They allow situations to unfold before acting, trusting that clarity will come in time.

They are not concerned with appearing strong or intelligent.

They are concerned with being in harmony.

And this harmony gives them a quiet strength that cannot be shaken.
