Chapter 1 - C1: Transmigrated

Tokyo, Japan

Kaito Tenryū sat as he watched over his glowing monitor.

He was currently watching Boruto, and immediately frowned.

"These damn filler episodes... How many are they?!"

Kaito angrily clicked his mouse, skipping through the video timeline.

In order to keep up with the manga release, the anime had to be filled with filler episodes that barely correlated with the main plot.

It was outrageous to the extreme.

Kaito didn't like watching it halfway like that.

Who wants to watch episodes about catching stray cats when ninja wars are happening in the manga?

"If only I could live in the Naruto world..."

Kaito sighed and leaned back in his chair.

When Kaito said this, a sudden blinding light emerged from his screen.

It instantly engulfed his body and made him completely unconscious.

-

Konoha, Land of Fire

When Kaito opened his eyes again, he immediately gasped for air.

What felt like an eternity to him finally passed, and he could clearly see his surroundings.

He stood on a traditional wooden tatami-mat.

His room was completely devoid of any modern touch or electronic ornaments.

But what immediately caught his attention was the large, red and white fan-shaped symbol painted on his wall.

"Huh? Isn't that..."

Before he could finish his sentence, a cold, mechanical voice called out inside his head.

[Ding! Loading completed! Congratulations to the host for awakening the Cheat System!]

[Summoning Mission...]

[Mission Option A: As an Uchiha, you should be fearless! Punch Fugaku Uchiha in the face!

Reward: Mangekyou Sharingan]

[Mission Option B: Play it safe and enroll in the Ninja Academy.

Reward: Fire Style: Great Fireball Jutsu Mastery]

[Mission Option C: Confront Elder Hondo Uchiha for your parents' death.

Reward: Six Eyes]

When Kaito saw this sudden information floating on a blue screen in front of him, he was momentarily stunned.

'System? Finally!'

Kaito quickly skimmed past the mission options.

It seems that he had actually transmigrated to the world of Naruto.

Moreover, he was currently inside the Uchiha compound.

However, when he saw the third option, he felt even more shocked.

'Huh? Six Eyes?'

He couldn't believe his eyes.

The reward actually gave him the innate ocular power of Gojo Satoru?

Wasn't that exclusive to the world of Jujutsu Kaisen?

'Would Cursed Energy translate to Chakra if I obtained it?'

Kaito thought about the possibilities.

Although the reward from the first option, the Mangekyou Sharingan, was undoubtedly very good, he believed the Six Eyes gave him far more advantages.

After all, punching Fugaku Uchiha right now was basically suicide.

If it works exactly like Gojo Satoru's ability, the Six Eyes could make the chakra consumption of any Jutsu he performed basically zero!

Not to mention the atomic-level perception of chakra flow.

'Given the fact that the system reward has abilities from other anime verses, could I also obtain Malevolent Shrine in the Naruto Universe?'

He thought about the absolute domain of Ryomen Sukuna.

That would be hilarious!

Imagine dropping Malevolent Shrine in the middle of a ninja war.

When Kaito was still thinking about this crazy possibility, his door suddenly slid open.

Crash!

"Hey, Kaito!"

He turned around, facing the sudden intruder that broke in effortlessly.

It was a young girl with dark hair and a confident smile.

It was Mirei Uchiha.

'Huh? How did I know this?'

Suddenly, Kaito felt a stinging pain in his head.

Apparently, inside his mind were two sets of memories merging together.

The first one belonged to him, an ordinary teenager from modern-day Japan.

The other was from Kaito Uchiha, an eleven-year-old orphan from the Uchiha Clan whose parents had mysteriously died on a past mission.

Mirei shouted, "Kaito, you're always daydreaming!"

Kaito raised both of his hands and said, "Sorry, I think I'm still sleepy."

Mirei put her hands on her hips.

She said, "You're very lazy, Kaito. C'mon, we have to go to the Academy for the Genin Exam."

When he heard this, Kaito lifted his brows.

'Genin Exam? First of all, I think I need to dig my memory up.'

He needed to figure out what timeline he was currently in.

Mirei said, "Go change your pajamas quickly. I will wait outside, okay?"

Kaito nodded his head silently.

When he was left alone again, he immediately began to sort through the newly acquired memories in his mind.

"Hmm... Hiruzen is the Hokage? Not Tsunade?"

Kaito dug deeper into the memory fragments.

"I see, even the Three Legendary Sannin are still just ordinary Jōnin."

"Which means, I am currently in the era before the Second Great Ninja War has even started."

It seemed like he would have to wait a long time before Naruto was even born.

To put it simply, Kaito was around the exact same generation as Minato Namikaze.

This was a highly dangerous era, filled with constant border skirmishes and ruthless shinobi.

He then walked straight to a mirror nearby to inspect his new body.

"I can't believe my body has changed. But I'm very good-looking here, aren't I?"

Indeed, his face gave off the striking looks of a model from modern-day Japan.

If he was still in Japan, he could easily become a famous idol.

Sharp dark eyes, smooth pale skin, and perfectly proportioned facial features.

He was literally the embodiment of an 'Ikemen'.

After changing his clothes into the Uchiha Clan's signature high-collar dark shirt, Kaito prepared to leave.

He looked at the system screen that was still floating in his vision.

The decision was already made.

He needed absolute power to survive the upcoming wars.

'First, I need to confront this old man Hondo, eh?'

"Mirei, I need to go somewhere first. You can head to the Academy without me."

Kaito said, adjusting his high collar.

Mirei folded her arms, looking completely annoyed.

She said, "No! I will go with you."

Kaito glanced at her.

He thought, 'Now that I think about it, she was also an orphan.'

'Is that why she is so attached to me?'

Still, he didn't refuse.

"Fine, you can come if you want."

Mirei immediately grabbed his arm and smiled brightly.

"Where are we going?" she asked.

Kaito walked toward the front door and said nonchalantly, "The Elder Compound."
