Mehedi picked up his phone again.
He opened WhatsApp…

"Last seen today at 2:17 AM."
His chest tightened a little.
"She's online this late… but no reply to my message?"
He typed again—
"Haven't slept yet?"
Typing…

Then nothing.
No reply.
Not even seen.
Mehedi and Ayesha—
They met on Facebook.
At first, it was just memes…
Then chatting…
Then late-night calls…

They became each other's daily habit.

She disappears without explanation

His phone suddenly vibrated.
Ayesha: "Sorry… I was a bit busy."
