Once there was a small village where a group of woodcutters lived. Every morning, they went to the forest to cut wood. Among them were two friends—Rahim and Karim.
Rahim was very hardworking but a bit impatient. Karim, on the other hand, was calm, thoughtful, and wise.
One day, they decided to have a challenge to see who could cut more wood. In the morning, they went to the forest and started working. Rahim kept cutting wood all day without taking any breaks. Meanwhile, Karim took short breaks from time to time.
In the evening, they compared their work. To Rahim's surprise, Karim had cut more wood!
Rahim asked,
"How did you cut more wood even though you were resting?"
Karim smiled and said,
"Whenever I was resting, I was sharpening my axe. That's why I could cut more wood in less time."
Rahim realized that not only hard work but also smart planning is important for success.
