Chapter 1 - Prologue : The new world.

---

The world's end here —

Humanity was not destroyed by a plague… not by corona, not by aliens, and not even by a world war or some futuristic robotic evolution.

Instead, it was brought to ruin by the very people who claimed to lead it—the powerful ones who lived hidden beneath the surface, the ones who held more influence than any politician or Hollywood actor could ever dream of.

Yes… I am talking about those mysterious organizations that have always ruled this world from the shadows, controlling everything according to their will without ever letting the rest of us realize it.

---

It is the 23rd century now, and the Earth… is completely wrecked.

Utterly destroyed to the point that no human, no animal—no living thing—can survive there anymore.

The exact reason? No one truly knows.

Some say it was the result of illegal research that spread uncontrollably across the world, while others believe it was a series of mysterious viruses and side effects that slowly consumed everything. Whatever the truth may be, the outcome was the same—an environment so toxic and unstable that it began to alter life itself.

Animals mutated into unrecognizable creatures, and humans with weaker bodies or fragile genetic systems evolved into mindless, wandering beings. The air became so polluted that no one could breathe even for a second, and the land turned barren, incapable of growing even a single grain of food.

---

Hmm? Good question …

*If that is the case, then how am I still alive?*

A fair question.

---

The answer is simple.

We no longer live on Earth.

Our home now lies beyond it—in massive space shuttles, enormous artificial worlds floating in the vastness of space. These are not just ships, but giant structures, each one as large as an entire city, connected with countless detachable and attachable units that expand them even further.

At present, there are hundreds of such mega shuttles, and each one is comparable to a country of the old world.

---

And yes… another question must have crossed your mind by now.

*Where did we get so much metal, so many resources, to build something like this?*

The universe is filled with planets. Most of them are not suitable for life, but they are rich in materials—resources that can be extracted and used. That is how these structures were created.

But these space shuttles are not just tools for survival anymore.

They have become something far more dangerous.

A system.

---

A system designed, controlled, and enforced by those same powerful people who once ruled the Earth.

A system from which there is no escape.

---

You see, we are not truly living here.

We are nothing more than caged animals.

Just like livestock that is fed and kept alive only to be used later, we are allowed to survive within this system so that they can do whatever they want with us, whenever they want.

---

These space shuttles are divided into four levels.

---

The first level is the **Dark Members**—the true rulers of this entire ecosystem. They remain hidden, unseen, yet they are the ones who decide whether we will even be allowed to breathe the next morning.

---

The second level is the **Royal class**. You could think of them as the kings of this new world, powerful figures who govern under the command of the Dark Members while still holding immense authority over everyone below them.

---

The third level is the **Elite class**—the nobles, the celebrities, the wealthy individuals who somehow managed to preserve their status even after the fall of Earth.

---

And finally…

The fourth level.

Us.

---

The lowest of the low.

The insects.

---

We make up nearly eighty-eight percent of the population living within these shuttles, existing only to work like slaves and obey every command given to us. We perform the manual labor that machines cannot handle—farming, maintenance, and countless other tasks necessary to keep this artificial world functioning.

And if you are wondering how farming is even possible in space…

The answer is simple.

Everything here is artificial.

Artificial land, artificial rivers, artificial soil—entire ecosystems created to mimic the old Earth, divided carefully across different levels according to status. And as you might expect, we exist at the very bottom of it all.

---

Whenever they wish, they descend to our level.

They take people away—arrest them, drag them to the upper levels.

Sometimes it is for labor.

But more often…

It is for experiments.

Like rats.

---

And yes…

..

This is my story.

..

And not happy one at all..

---

My name — is Neel.

Surname?

Hah! We usually don't have those anymore
