Riley's POV
I couldn't pull my gaze away from his. All these years, Caleb had kept that ridiculous pink bunny. The realization hit me like a wave.
"Well, I guess it wasn't such a stupid pink bunny after all," Mason said, his voice filled with surprise.
I finally managed to look away from Caleb toward the others. The teasing had stopped completely. Every face around the circle showed understanding now. When I looked back at Caleb, he was still watching me with those intense eyes.
"Just like I told you, Riley. You were never forgotten."
Zoey's voice cut through the charged moment between us. "Okay, that's sweet and all, but Caleb, your turn now." She shot me a knowing smirk before turning back to Caleb.
I felt grateful for the interruption. The urge to kiss him had been overwhelming, and I definitely didn't want to give everyone a show.
Caleb closed his eyes briefly, then scanned the room. "Silas, truth or dare?"
