Riley's POV
A laugh bubbles up from my chest. "The moon man?" I question, watching as his smile widens. "Yeah, it's this old tale our folks used to scare us with to keep us tucked in bed before we could shift. Want to hear it?" His offer makes me grin wider than I have all day. "Absolutely, I need to hear this story."
He chuckles at my enthusiasm. "Perfect. Let's head to your place and I'll get the crew over. Mason tells it better than anyone." His arm finds its way around me again as we walk, his warmth seeping through my jacket and chasing away the evening chill.
I steal glances at him as we move down the sidewalk. God, he's stunning. The moonlight catches in his eyes, making them practically glow. His jawline could cut glass, and when he smiles, everything about his face transforms. Even his hair seems to catch the breeze just right, like he stepped out of some magazine. He's absolutely perfect, and somehow he wants me.
