Inside the underground space beneath Urahara Shop, Urahara Kisuke and Yoruichi stood on high alert.
Beside them, Tsukabishi Tessai had already been injured by the Hollowfied Tsuna. At this moment, the only effective combat power remaining was Urahara and Yoruichi.
"Kisuke, if necessary, use your power," Yoruichi said.
Her speed was no longer enough to suppress Tsuna. Thanks to that strange yellow flame, Hollowfied Tsuna had already adapted to his enhanced body and could completely keep up with Yoruichi's speed.
"I understand."
Urahara glanced at Benihime in his hand.
If they still couldn't restrain Tsuna, he would have no choice but to reshape the terrain to restrict Tsuna's movements—just like how he had created this underground training ground.
Please finish soon, Mr. Tsunayoshi.
Just as Urahara raised Benihime to block another attack—
The Hollowfied Tsuna in front of them suddenly vanished.
Instead, a violent Reiatsu erupted behind them.
Not good.
Before Urahara could react, Yoruichi moved first.
Explosive spiritual pressure burst from her body as she struck with Shunkō, her punch barely blocking the claw attack from Hollowfied Tsuna.
But she had no time to block the green hair-like spikes that followed.
At that critical moment, Urahara had already begun to speak:
"Ban—"
Suddenly—
Tsuna's movements froze.
Cracking sounds echoed from his body.
Urahara quickly pulled Yoruichi back.
Then they saw it.
A white Hollow shell peeled off Tsuna's body like a broken mold.
It fell to the ground and shattered into fragments.
Tsuna's real body was revealed.
He was wearing a black suit with a white shirt and black tie.
At his waist were two short swords.
One black, one white, crossed horizontally behind his back.
Their hilts pointed left and right, creating a symmetrical yet striking appearance.
His face was also partially covered by a half Hollow mask, covering the upper half of his face.
Beneath the left eye of the mask was the familiar inverted blue crown mark.
Tsuna removed the mask and opened his eyes.
Seeing Urahara and the others cautiously watching him, he asked blankly,
"Did I… succeed?"
Urahara adjusted his clothes slightly, walked over, and crouched down to circle Tsuna while covering half his face with his folding fan.
"Technically speaking, yes," he said.
"But what's going on with this Shihakushō of yours?"
Only then did Tsuna notice his clothing.
Back in his inner world, he had been too busy talking with Tenth and Byakuran to realize that the outfit given to him was not a traditional Shinigami uniform.
Instead—
It resembled the mafia suit Tsuna wore when representing the Vongola.
"Looks more like something from the West," Yoruichi commented.
"The West… you mean the Western Branch of Soul Society?" Urahara muttered thoughtfully.
He decided not to dwell on that for now.
His gaze shifted to Tsuna's swords.
"Another pair of dual Zanpakutō, hm? That would make the third known case."
"Kisuke, open your eyes and look carefully," Yoruichi said.
"Those swords aren't the same."
"Strictly speaking… they can't really be called a pair."
She stared directly at Tsuna.
"Kid, do you understand what's going on with your swords?"
Tsuna scratched his head awkwardly and pretended to be confused.
"Huh? Aren't Zanpakutō supposed to be like this?"
"I just learned their name before getting kicked out."
Of course, Tsuna knew exactly what they were.
One black, one white.
They symbolized his Shinigami power and Hollow power.
As for the two known cases Urahara mentioned—
They belonged to:
Kyōraku Shunsui, Captain of the 8th Division
Ukitake Jūshirō, Captain of the 13th Division
But strictly speaking, their swords weren't truly paired.
Kyōraku's Katen Kyōkotsu had produced Kyōkotsu through a special manifestation.
Ukitake's Sōgyo no Kotowari had two blades connected by a chain.
In essence, they were still one Zanpakutō each.
But Tsuna's case—
Two swords born from two separate powers—
Was truly a genuine dual Zanpakutō.
Yoruichi didn't completely believe Tsuna.
This kid clearly showed a level of maturity far beyond his age.
He was definitely hiding something.
"Well then," Urahara said.
"Since Mr. Tsunayoshi already knows the name of his Zanpakutō, we can skip the third stage of training."
Tsuna shot him a look.
So you just wanted to see my Shikai.
"What about Mr. Tessai?" Tsuna asked.
"I haven't seen him."
"Ahem… I'm here."
Tessai walked over while holding his left arm.
In his right hand he was using Kaido (healing Kidō) on himself.
During the earlier battle, he had been injured.
First his arm had been damaged, affecting his ability to cast Kidō.
Then he took a direct punch from Hollowfied Tsuna and suffered internal injuries.
"I'm sorry, Mr. Tessai," Tsuna said.
"You were injured because of me."
"It's nothing," Tessai replied calmly.
"Please don't worry about it."
"No, let me at least do something."
Tsuna drew the black Zanpakutō from his back.
The sword was completely black—from hilt to guard to blade.
Urahara instantly jumped in front of Tessai, waving his hands.
"Mr. Tsunayoshi! Tessai is already injured—you don't need to stab him again!"
"Indeed," Tessai added quickly.
"It's only a minor injury. I'll recover soon."
"Relax, I never said I was going to cut you."
Tsuna spun the blade lightly and spoke the release command:
"Illuminate the sky—Sun."
The black short sword transformed.
A yellow glow enveloped Tsuna's hands and feet.
A pair of white fingerless gloves and heavy white combat boots appeared.
Both bore the yellow Vongola crest.
When the Tenth had transformed Tsuna's Shinigami attire earlier, Tsuna had learned all of his Shikai release commands.
Just like with Fullbring, speaking different release phrases allowed Tsuna to manifest different attribute abilities.
Right now he had activated the Sun Attribute Vongola Equipment.
Sun Flame Gloves and Propulsion Boots.
Among the Seven Sky Flames, the Sun Flame possessed the attribute of Activation.
Depending on how it was used, it could stimulate cellular activity—accelerating cell growth for healing.
Tsuna extended his hand toward Tessai.
A light like the sun shone from his palm.
This was Tsuna's first time using the ability for healing.
In his Fullbring version, the Sun equipment had been purely offensive.
The warm sunlight bathed Tessai.
He felt warmth spread through his body.
His wounds began to itch as they rapidly healed.
Even the internal injuries improved.
After a short while, Tessai lowered his hand from his arm.
The injuries had completely healed.
Tsuna then dismissed the Sun Flame.
Tessai stretched slightly.
Not only his arm but even his internal injuries had fully recovered.
It was far faster than healing himself with Kaido.
There was only one small side effect—
His hair had grown extremely thick.
His beard now covered most of his neck.
After finishing the healing, Tsuna sheathed his sword.
Urahara, however, stared thoughtfully at the Zanpakutō.
"A healing-type Zanpakutō?" he murmured.
"But the Shikai form doesn't look like a healing weapon at all."
"If I had to say… it resembles the equipment of a certain friend of mine."
"Exactly," Yoruichi said excitedly.
"That's clearly a Hakuda-type Zanpakutō!"
She looked rather jealous.
If her Zanpakutō had that form, she wouldn't have hidden it away all these years.
"Hey kid," Yoruichi said eagerly while cracking her knuckles.
"Release your Shikai and fight me for a bit."
Earlier she had held back out of fear of injuring Tsuna—even with Shunkō.
Now she was itching to beat up the lucky kid.
"It's already very late," Urahara said calmly.
"Yoruichi, let Mr. Tsunayoshi go home first."
"Starting tomorrow, we'll help him get familiar with his Shikai powers."
Under Urahara's cheerful farewell, Tsuna quickly headed home.
Meanwhile he was desperately thinking about what new club excuse he could invent to justify coming home late.
"Kisuke," Yoruichi said after Tsuna left.
"You're really letting him go just like that?"
"There's something strange about those twin swords."
Her instincts told her that the pure white blade was suspicious.
The color reminded her of the white Hollow they had just fought.
"Relax," Urahara replied casually.
"We'll have plenty of time to interact with Mr. Tsunayoshi."
"We'll eventually learn everything we want."
Behind his playful expression, his eyes were full of calculation.
From just fragments of Tsuna's words, Urahara had already concluded—
This boy knew far more than he was revealing.
On the Way Home
Tsuna quietly reviewed his abilities.
Based on what happened in the inner world, his powers were divided like this:
Shinigami Power → represented by Adult Tsuna (Tenth)
Hollow Power → represented by Byakuran
But these two were clearly different from the versions in the Reborn story.
Both possessed the power of all Seven Sky Flames.
In other words—
They weren't just individuals.
They represented the combined powers of everyone from the Vongola Family and the True Six Funeral Wreaths.
Which meant:
Shinigami Power = Vongola Family (represented by Tenth)
Hollow Power = Millefiore Family / True Six Funeral Wreaths (represented by Byakuran)
After realizing this, Tsuna suddenly gained seven pieces of information.
They were the release commands for all Shinigami powers.
A black line appeared across his forehead.
So the Tenth had still hidden something.
Instead of telling him directly, Tsuna previously had to visualize Sasagawa Ryohei just to recall the Sun release command.
But now things were simpler.
With all the release commands known, Tsuna didn't even need to draw his sword.
He could activate abilities simply by speaking them.
