I arrive back to Demon Human academy to see a school bus packed with students. seriously?!
Ezio slid inside the bus window while Xion took the bus driver's seat.
Cyrus [Level ???, Rank ???]: Come on. Hurry up. The island will rain if you don't hurry.
Cyrus gets the attention of the other students. Soon after, the school bus roars.
Ikke [Level 1]: Cyrus. How did you make this school trip happen?
Cyrus [Level ???, Rank ???]: I just talked with the student council. Weapons ready?!
Ikke [Level 1]: Yeah. I got mine.
Zed [Level 3]: Oh, I don't have one still.
Cyrus [Level ???, Rank ???]: Are you serious?!!
That's when I notice; all I have is my book.
I notice Takeda isn't talking. Also, I'm shocked to see Ezio hasn't said a word.
Cyrus [Level ???, Rank ???]: I'll explain the school trip in more detail now. This school trip is designed to build a strong team. In the island, you'll have to survive against wild animals. With that, Cyrus leaves to meet with his crew.
Zed [Level 3]: Alright Ezio, what are you doing here? You are not even in this class.
Ezio: I'm supposed to be watching Takeda since his behavior as of late has been unacceptable.
Zed [Level 3]: And Xion?!!
Xion [Level ???, Rank 4]: I needed a job.
Ikke [Level 1]: We need to find a team!
When Takeda leaves, Ezio follows.
Zed [Level 3]: Guess that leaves us three.
Ikke [Level 1]: The demon gang. Lol.
I barely have a second to dodge, but I catch the arrow.
My face got only a scratch.
Zed [Level 3]: Leave now! It's dangerous here.
We end up going different directions to escape the ploy.
After a lot of running, I see some old guy sitting on the floor drinking tea. Other students surround him. I decide to leave them alone.
I head back to Cyrus as the sun sets. It seems we males got our own location to spend the night.
The other students surround Cyrus expecting some good news, but what happens next would be life-changing for them.
random student: this forest is unsettling. I want to go home already.
Another random demon [ Level 1]: Yeah. Not all this walking. I hope we leave early tomorrow morning.
Cyrus shakes his head.
Cyrus [Level???, Rank ???]: I can't send you home right now.
Cyrus's expression becomes serious.
Cyrus [Level???, Rank ???]: Right now, there is a big problem going on at home.
Puzzled students: Is this about the demons?
Cyrus [Level???, Rank ???]: Not particularly the demons. The supernatural. Your homes are being cleared now, but the evil has risen. This island is one of the few safe places. The only way to see your parents is to work on surviving here. Then get strong enough to fight for them.
I've never seen Cyrus so serious, but I knew it would end up this way considering what I know. Some students try to run away but are stopped by soldiers.
Cyrus [Level???, Rank ???]: Outside this place is a warzone. It is suicide.
Zed [Level 3, Rank ???]: Actually, I have to look around some more.
Cyrus [Level???, Rank ???]: At this hour?! It's getting dark.
Zed [Level 3, Rank ???]: Yeah, but I'll be back soon.
After that, I head to the dark path to who knows where. It gets dark fast. I think it might just be the sun fully setting. I end up bumping into a few trees. My face began to bleed again after colliding with branches. Blood drips on the ground.
Zed [Level 3, Rank ???]: Damn!
I know I'm almost there.
Zed [Level 1, Rank ???]: Huh?! Found it!
I hide behind a tree and see the sight ahead of me. It's an entire empire, but not the one I saw before. I recall getting hit by the arrow.
ow I'm here. I see some people, but I don't recognize students.
Then there is a noise. I look back and my heart stops. I get kicked out of my hiding area.
Zed [Level 3, Rank ???]: Oof.
I look up. That's when I notice I got caught. I see archers. I see chivalry. No way to escape it seems. I get jabbed in the back by their weapons. Then they lead me somewhere else. Since I needed to learn more, I didn't fight back. I pause when I'm led to a field. oh, not again. I see that my opponent on the other side is a demon. What should I do now? I'm forced to fight a high-level demon. The demon charges at me throws a punch and I dodge the attack. When a kick comes my way, I block. The demon keeps attacking. I keep defending. Soon, this begins to annoy the audience. A few minutes later, the high-level demon's attacks are softer I leave the field while the demon charges once again. The chivalry arrives once more to stop the fight only to get grabbed by the high-level demon; then swung to the air. I catch the chivalry, then avoid the archers. The battle is now in our favor. The high-level demon starts to throw chivalry at the archers.
Zed [Level 3, Rank ???]: Want to get out of here?!
High-level demon: Not yet! My family is still here!
