"I am fine," Naina simply told Trisha.
As they talked, Manik watched them both. Naina then stated her desire to leave the villa, and Trisha immediately agreed. When Naina prepared to walk out, Manik stepped forward, worried.
"Naina, please, you need to rest and stay here," he pleaded.
Naina only smiled faintly. "We need to leave."
"Naina, please," Manik insisted, desperate. "You need to rest and stay here."
Before Naina could reply, Trisha cut in, her voice cold and furious. "Why would Naina stay here? So you can try to kill her again?"
Manik was shocked into silence.
"You already destroyed everything she had," Trisha spat. "You punished Naina because you thought she planned to rape Simran. So, how will you punish Avinash, who actually tried to murder her?"
Manik was stunned, utterly without defense.
"Why don't you have an answer?" Trisha shouted. "Avinash tried to kill my best friend, Naina!"
Naina grabbed Trisha's hand, pulling her friend's face close. "It was Avinash's plan to murder me? But why?"
"Because of his loving sister," Trisha revealed.
Naina was shocked. "Simran? But why? I never even saw her at the Sharma Villa, and the first time I saw her was on the hotel roof when I tried to end my life"
Trisha smiled coldly at Manik, then looked at Naina. "Simran loves Manik, but Manik loves his wife—you."
Naina was surprised. She looked at Manik, who was visibly hurt and consumed by guilt, tears welling up in his eyes, silently begging for forgiveness. Naina stared at him for a few moments, then turned away.
"Let's go, Trisha," she said. She added, "If we stay, we will die." This pronouncement hurt Manik more than any angry words, confirming that he had utterly broken her.
Naina walked out of the room with Trisha's support. Manik stood by the open door, watching his love walk away, feeling his life slipping through his fingers.
The Unseen History
As Naina walked down the hall, she stopped, seeing a wall covered in photos: pictures of her from childhood all the way to the present, displayed proudly in the Mafia King's villa.
She looked at Trisha in surprise.
"Manik did this," Trisha explained. "Vikram told me that Manik loves you very much and is truly guilty. He wants you in his life."
Naina said nothing, just studied the pictures, ready to leave.
As they reached the main door, KK (Kishan Kumar) stepped in their path. He recognized her as his queen, the wife of his boss, but Naina barely glanced at him, preparing to step past.
"Please stop, Ma'am," KK said.
Naina gave him a questioning, confused look. Trisha was about to speak when Manik came downstairs, a determined smile fixed on his face.
Naina then heard a voice behind her. She turned and was surprised to see Maya and Arjun. She wanted to ask why they were there, but then her breath hitched. Standing beside them was her little brother, Arun, whom she hadn't seen in over a year. Naina stood frozen in shock.
