Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: The Chaotic life of a High schooler

"Huh Vinay you are sleeping? I thought you would try to survive another two lectures but guess you want be scolded for sleeping in the class I guess "Animesh questioned while glazing at him curiously.

Vinay was putting his head down and he didn't give a reply to him and Animesh got frustrated and said "hey are you even listening?". Then Vinay finally replied while keeping his head down "that is a lame excuse for getting scolded, this time you might see another prank coming and don't remind me to keep my head up, okay? " . Then classroom's door opens and Mr Kumar with his books arrived for his lecture and then all students greet him good afternoon for which he greeted them back.

"Alright everyone, please open your textbooks and we are going to solve exercise 6a and if anyone knows the answer so, please have some courtesy to raise your hand and give the answers" Mr Kumar announces with his stoic nature .

He proceeds to take the chalk from the teacher's desk and picked one chalk and just as the chalk made contact with the chalkboard, the chalk started to shatter into multiple pieces and breaking the stoic mask of Mr Kumar with a look of confusion and a hint of amusement. The look on his face screamed a rise in anger meter with that he turned back and his stoic nature on display and a question raised with a loud tone.

"I suppose this was not peon's fault, is it? Who is responsible for this?! I don't want to waste my time insulting a worthless character so hurry up and admit who did this?! " .

Vinay who was giggling quietly because of his successful prank had kept his head down to not let Mr Kumar notice his post prank reaction. Mr Kumar noticed Vinay's head being down so he asked

"Mr Rekhawat, would you mind giving us a clue for this event? " .

Vinay stood up but couldn't hide his giggling and for which Mr Kumar gets the clue for the culprit.

"Vinay Rekhawat of course, the kid having a joke of a statistics about number pranks done in the past weeks, you think playing stupid would leave no room for doubts in this classroom about the culprit?

Get out of the classroom and stand outside!!!". Mr Kumar shouts with raw voice

Mr Kumar's scolding didn't impact Vinay in a way a "normal student" should and Vinay protested with a hint of smirk and a self-confident tone

"But Sir, how could you blame me without any concrete evidence? I strongly defend myself ".

Mr Kumar growls dangerously "I don't like to remind you about this but I have a class to continue so could you please stand outside and accept your mistake with a hint of guilt and possible shame? " .

. Vinay was about to protest but Mr Kumar stares at him with his menacing glasses and Vinay dismissed it off and surrenders to the truth. "Fine I will stand outside".

Vinay exits the classroom and stands outside but within the classroom there was someone who had sympathy for him and whispering herself to not let anyone aware of her sympathy.

"Vinay why do you do these pranks even though you are anyways will be caught and punished?".

Tara couldn't help but stare at him because her best friend is exactly opposite of her gentle and disciplined personality. Then lecture resumes and the next teacher arrive at the gate of the classroom and the door open and Mr Kumar seeing the other teacher speaks up

"Mr Singh, do not let Vinay attend your session, his pranks have gotten out of control and strict punishment is the only way to let classes continue without any disturbances".

Vinay looks at Mr Singh hoping he would allow him to attend the class but his hopes were crushed immediately as Mr Singh replied with an affirming tone "Sure Kumar Sir, Vinay will not attend my lecture because his actions are inexcusable and it is good that he is knowing the guilt of pulling such meaningless pranks ".

Mr Singh ignores Vinay's presence and enters the classroom and Vinay admits it to himself

"Ah Man, I was thinking pulling a prank on him too but guess he got lucky that I was caught way too early ".

Then last lectures resumes and Vinay stands outside and there was no hint of guilt on his face instead his mind was planning for future pranks. Even Tara notices the smirk on the Vinay's face and she was worried about him but she kept focusing on the class also. Then the last lecture ends and everyone packs their bag and starts to leave and Mr Singh left the classroom and gave a look at Vinay but didn't lecture him because he did lecture Vinay last week after Vinay was talking in the classroom while he was teaching.

Then Tara approaches him and trying to be less harsh

"Vinay you are really inexcusable! I was worried that you will be sent to principal office, at least don't let yourself be in trouble next time okay?". She scolds.

Vinay interrupting her with his quirky smile "Yeah m.a.d.a.m, I get it okay? Don't be my teacher and scold me like them ".

Then Tara asks "Anyways are you free today? I was hoping you could come to my house and maybe then hang out?".

Vinay replied "Sorry Tara, Today is Abhimanyu's birthday and he invited me for the party so maybe we could make it up for next week?".

Then tara assures without being red as a cherry" Sure no worries but I won't forget about the plan, okay?

Vinay agrees and then they both leave the school and then go separately.

Vinay stops by a shop and buys a gift, "I hope he likes this and it is good for a seven-year-old not too boring but still be educational in some ways ". Vinay thinks as he takes "the business" a game of four people where properties are brought with its currencies and dices are used to move the pawn forward on the cardboard that had events and places for buying properties.

. Vinay purchases it and then he says to himself "Well the kid is growing up, sending me invitation with a WhatsApp message? That's strangely amusing and kinda unexpected ".

He chuckles and then goes to His house and rings the bell and Vardhini opens the door

"Vinay!!, Come inside the house, Abhimanyu would be glad to see his big bro" the excitement in her voice made it more welcoming for Vinay.

Upon seeing Vinay, the birthday boy Abhimanyu rushed towards him and gave him a good hug, a warming hug which made Vinay being stressful about whether Abhimanyu is going to like this gift or not to "Yeah, He will definitely enjoy this game with me ".

"Hey big bro, I was waiting for you and you brought me a gift?! Thank you Thank you so much!! ". Abhimanyu exclaims with tears of joy upon seeing the gift on Vinay's hand.

"I am glad you liked this gift and the best thing about this game is that you can play it with four people so me, your mom and Rishabh could play this game altogether and have fun". Vinay smiles as he handles the gift box to him

"You don't have to go all in out for this, you are going to spoil him with such gifts". Vardhini protests with an attempt trying to be formal.

"No, it's okay "Vinay continues

"Besides Birthday are once in a year event and I want to be the best big bro for him and you better watch out; in months Abhimanyu will be partners in crime for my future planning for pranks". Vinay warns her playfully.

"Yeah, I get it, but I am also a good mother and will not let Mr Vinay to spoil my kid with his crazy influence". Vardhini laughs as she launches a counter attack to Vinay's warning.

"Hey guys, I hope that my absence was not noticeable in the party and hey Vinay how you doing?" Rishabh's entry with a quirky announcement made him a display for shaming him for being late

"You are late, I told you to leave the café early". Vardhini coldly responded

"Well, that was some interesting entry, Rishabh" Vinay trying to lighten the mood.

"Sorry, I know I should have left early but I promise you that my presence will be felt before looking at the clock and being all rude to me". Rishabh jokes with a smile and a gentle voice as soothing enough to relax the ears.

Abhimanyu opened the gift and found business game and then four of them started to play the game and Vinay explained the rules to each of them.
