Chapter 2 - The first day in elven settlement

George replied with polite smile and went to the direction of the inn. Inside he meet the innkeeper and decides to ask how much he have to pay for rent.

Excuse me, sir, can you tell me how much I have to pay for staying for a day.

That depend on what currency who carry.

Does this place accept more than one currency?

That's right, we hill folks, accept orens, florens and crowns, though we also accept a item instead of coins, if it is valuable.

George, took some coins from pouch.

Can you tell me what currency is this?

You don't even know the currencies used in north?

I am sorry for my ignorance, I am new to this land.

A human with manners? And also willing to admit mistakes? Very well, let me see your coins.

The innkeeper saw the coins.

It is crowns, one coin is enough for one to stay for a week in this inn.

*Excited* That cheap! I guess the coins I have more than enough to buy anything I want.

Don't be excited, only for lodging, a single crown is enough for a week's stay. For food, items or anything elses, you have to pay more crowns.

{Feeling dejected} And I thought I am rich guy here, but I guess only for staying in inn, I have to pay less, for anything else I have to pay more.

George gave a crown to innkeeper.

*Sigh* Here's one crown, I will like to book a room for a week.

After paying, he is escorted by one of the worker of the inn to a room.

It's fine, it's not a big deal.

After that he left the place, George feeling tired from training the basic unarmed martial arts of fast style, fall on the bed ans asleep quickly. The elves in neighbour came to the innkeeper.

{In elder speech} How was the boy's behaviour?

{In elder speech} The boy seems unusually polite for a human, of course, the boy seemed clueless about the currency of this land, as he doesn't seem to know about the currency used in northern realms.

{In elder speech} A polite human? And a clueless one at that? Is he came from distant land?

{In elder speech} Well he did say, he is new to this land.

The elves looked at each other and gave collective sigh of relief.

{In elder speech} No wonder that boy is polite to us, he must be from distant land where there is no to less racism against us non-humans.

{In elder speech} Even so, we cannot let our guard doen, he could be a spy, pretending to be clueless.

{In elder speech} Then we will keep an eye on boy, if he is a spy, we will find a way to eliminate him, if he is not a spy, we will treat him as a guest and wouldn't mind his presence.

The elves nodded in unison. The next morning, George woke up early and start practicing martial arts outside. His moves were refined but alien to elves, as this martial arts, similar to the ones practiced in eastern nations of earth in alien to elves. After all, the concept of kung fu doesn't exist here. George refined his fast style. The fast style of dynasty is not as strong as brute style of legion and precise style of herald, the fast style is good for multiple strikes, long combos, evasion, dodge and so on. Requiring one to be active, have huge stamina, be fast and focus of agility.

{In elder speech} Mom, is that guy dancing?

{In elder speech} He is not dancing, he is practicing some kind of barehanded combat.

{In elder speech} What kind of barehanded combat is this? It's look more like a weird dance than a fighting move.

{In elder speech} You shouldn't say anything bad about anyone. Though I admit that his fighting style is weird.

The other elves also gathered and watched the boy practicing, they all understood that the human guest is practicing a fighting style, but it look very alien to them, as they never saw someone having a fighting style like that.

After some practice he asked a nearby elf.

Excuse me, is there any shop nearby, that sells, materials for crafting.

{Pointing finger towards a direction} There, you will find the shop for raw materials there.

George went to the shop, the elf mentioned, it sell everythings, the alloys, the textiles, threads, sewing pins, tools and so on. He purchased every items he needed and left the shop.

Using items, he created sentry's guandao, recruit's doublet, horse-tail helmet and trifolium daggers, it look like chinese warrior set, after all this is a dynastian set from shadow fight 3, and dynastians resembles traditional chinese people in earth.

Since this is rare grade set, he enchanted it with compatible shadow abilities, swift ability for armor, whirl ability for helmet, cloud ability for ranged weapon and tornado ability for weapon.

To enchanting these equipments into shadow equipment, shadow energy is needed that could be gained from shadow sphere or in place with high concentration of shadow energy, but for now he simply took the energy realised by shadow sphere.

His first shadow equipment set is ready, now he can finally practice shadow abilities, he went to open place to practice. The elves saw George outfit that seems new to them, not matching the culture of northern reams, isles, the south and even known distant lands like ofir.

{In elder speech} That guy really came from distant land, we don't know.

{In elder speech} Indeed, that outfit doesn't seemed to resemble that of ofir, one of the few known distant lands.

{In elder speech} Not to mention such outfit is not used in north, south and even isles.

{In elder speech} I wonder from where he came from.

George decides to start his training in shadow energy and decided to activate his shadow form.
