Theo dived in with his whole body to block Sonny's shot. Sonny felt Theo's presence and faked the shot onto his left foot.
Theo, though on the floor, stood up with force and dived again to block the second shot attempt from Sonny. Sonny already knew that Theo would dive again.
He had been studying the movements of Theo since round 1. This allowed him to match Theo even though Theo was miles better than him.
Sonny faked the shot back onto his right foot, and used his right foot to shift the ball and give himself space for a shot- Pa!
He finessed the ball into the bottom right corner of the net. Sonny ran to the corner flag and hit the SUIII!! Celebration.
"GOOAALL!!", the players and students exclaimed.
"So this is Sonny Hale", a player said.
"He knocked out Theo Harrow from the Trial. He's brilliant", another player replied.
Coach Joe smiled and went to have a seat on the bench chairs. His assistant, Maryanne, was also seated on the bench. She looked at him and smiled.
"You really wanted him to win, didn't you?", she asked.
Coach Joe looked up and watched as the players and students were jubilating. "Not really. I want him to prove himself. And of course the better he performs, the more his automatic pass will be backed", he said.
"So you mean you've given him the pass just because of today's trial?", Maryanne asked, with her eyes wide open glued at coach Joe.
Coach Joe stood up. "I'd given him the pass before the trial even started, haha", he chuckled, and left.
{At the stands}
Kelly Mercer, watching on, smirked and laughed. "Day 2's gonna be fun", she said, and stood up. She told Michelle and her friends to come with her so they could get back to class.
{Back on the field}
Sonny walked off the field with joy. "I never knew I could do that. I knew studying his movements as Coach Joe told wrote down would work", he bluttered to himself.
"But my speed has improved though, and my decision making. I'm surprised I could double fake like that. What's next is to find out what my trait might be", he said while removing his boots and socks on the bench.
He looked at Theo, who was also undressing. He didn't want to go near him yet. He thought Theo would be annoyed to see his face after such a humiliation.

After school Sonny was on his way out, still thinking about the goal. He saw Theo from afar. Theo was on his way out as well.
He tried to hide his face but Theo saw him and rushed towards him. "Ay Sonny!", Theo exclaimed.
"Hold up!", he said as he ran towards Sonny.
Theo reached Sonny and stopped and bent down to breathe in air.
"What's up Theo", Sonny asked.
Theo raised his body and struck his fist out for a fist bump. "Nice job bro", he said.
Sonny blinked twice before replying. "Uh... thanks bro", he replied and fist bumped Theo.
Theo looked at Sonny and saw he was not being open with his expression as usual. "Why the long face? You won fair and square", he asked.
"It's just, I hope you're not annoyed about the trial. You know because I double faked you and everyone celebrated with me and all", Sonny replied.
Theo was silent for a second, before bursting into laughter. "Why would I be angry about that,
Theo, I will do whatever it takes to get you back, even if it means joining a rival team. But You did win fair and square, whatever happened on the field stays on the field. Alright?", he replied.
"Yeah, sure thing bro", Sonny said.
"That's it bro! I'm gonna head to your place before I go home. We'll play some Efootball, I know for a fact you can't beat me at that!" Theo chuckled, and put his arms on Sonny's shoulders.
They went to Sonny's home and played some Efootball and other video games, before Theo went home.
After Theo went home, Sonny's mom, Julian, got home.
Sonny greeted his mom and helped her set up her things in her room.
After some time Julian remembered about the trial, while she was cooking in the kitchen, with Sonny's little sister.
"Sonny!", she exclaimed to get his attention from his room.
Sonny sprinted to the kitchen thinking something serious had happened.
"How did the trial go? Did you get in? And why haven't you spoken about it since I got home?", she asked him back to back questions before he could think of a response.
"Oh yeah the trial. I passed Day 1. Now I have to prepare for Day 2", Sonny replied.
Julian came close to him and hugged him very tight. "Oh my sweet boy, you're gonna crush Day 2, i kniw it". She said while crushing Sonny under her weight.
Sonny tried to remove himself from the tight hug but his little sister joined in for the vibes.
"Mom, I can't breathe", Sonny squirmed to relieve himself.
Julian finally released him from the hug. She had watched Sonny get rejected multiple times and was finally happy he was headed in the right direction this time around.
"Alright, I'm going to cook something sweet and delicious for you both to eat. It's time to celebrate!", Julian exclaimed.
Sonny's little sister, Kora, was very surprised he managed to make it past Day 1.
She wanted to see how Sonny would play so she asked her mom, Julian, if they could watch the game.
"Mom, can we watch Sonny in the next trial day? I wanna see how much he's improved", she said.
"No Kora, that would just put pressure on him even more. We can't go", Julian replied.
Kora looked at Sonny and Sonny showed her his tongue to make her angry. "Mom please!" she exclaimed and continued to beg.
Sonny went back into his room to watch a football match, between Los Blancos and Benfica, in the Champions Cup round of 32.
He is a Chelsea fan but wanted Los Blancos to lose, because he hated them and didn't want them to progress to increase Chelsea's chances of winning the cup.
{In the match}
"Vinicius Junior running through with the ball-
"GOOAALLAZZOOOO! Vinicius scores to give Los Blancos the lead and certainly the victory tonight".
Sonny jumped up from his bed, so angry he would have punched the television.
"Benfica can't even keep a solid defence for 2 minutes", Sonny muttered while watching Los Blancos celebrate.
"Well this was a waste of a hate watch", he said and went to bed.
