Arnold and Tua are both spellbound by the kiss, neither willing to let go of each other– afraid that the moment might disappear if they do. The whole moment feels magical. The world outside has frozen, the moon's soft light gently brushing their faces. The room is filled with darkness yet their love sparkles like a ray of hope.
In the midst of their captivating kiss, Arnold stops. Tua's face full of confusion as Arnold seems to distance himself from Tua again. Arnold says in a remorseful voice, "I think we should stop now....". Tua freezes, Arnold continues, "we're both so drunk... let's pretend like this never happened." Tua's voice cracks, "so basically, you're saying it's a mistake? ", Arnold says in a heavy voice "yes...." and then he tries to leave. Tua reaches for Arnold's hand and grabs it, his hands trembling with a fear of abandonment.
"Why are you doing this to me? " Tua says in a wistful voice "are my feelings a joke to you? ", "you kiss me when you feel like it and suddenly you say it's a mistake because we both are drunk? " he spoke in a taut manner. Arnoldgrew rigid, "Tua...."
