The Beginning of the Journey
The journey began with Kazuya, a 15-year-old boy who dreamed of becoming the King of Magic.
With determination burning in his eyes, Kazuya stood before the grand gates of Aurelim Magic Academy, one of the most prestigious schools in the world. Today was the day of the entrance exams—the first step toward his destiny.
Hundreds of applicants had gathered, each carrying their own ambitions, fears, and hidden potential.
The exams had begun.
First Test: The Magic Evaluation
The first test was simple in appearance, yet terrifying in meaning.
At the center of the hall stood a massive crystal—the Magic Sphere. Every candidate had to place their hand on it to reveal the type and level of magic they possessed.
Magic in this world was divided into five categories:
1. Basic Magic
The most common type—simple yet essential.
It included elemental powers such as fire, water, earth, and air.
2. Intermediate Magic
A step above the basics.
This level included more complex and destructive forms such as lava, ice, lightning, advanced spells (fifth-tier basic magic), and sand manipulation.
3. High Magic
Feared and respected.
This category included abilities like earthquakes, gravity manipulation, sword control, hurricanes, and even mind control.
4. Legendary Magic
Rare… and often forbidden.
This category contained the most dangerous and powerful abilities known to mankind:
Chaos, catastrophe, plague, space manipulation, time control, death magic, spell-stealing, darkness, light, royal magic, and life magic.
Royal Magic was especially unique—it allowed the user to unlock the full potential of their lineage, pushing both their magic and physical body beyond their natural limits.
5. Forbidden Beast Magic
The most dangerous of all.
Only three types existed in this category, and each was considered a curse rather than a blessing:
Void Magic
Infinity Magic
Abyss Magic
Among them, Void Magic was the most terrifying.
It granted abilities beyond human comprehension…
One of its powers was the Eye of Destruction—an eye capable of erasing anything the user gazed upon.
Another ability allowed the user to trap enemies within a void dimension—a realm that drained life, magic, and even immortality itself.
And finally…
There was one more type of magic.
Clan Magic.
A unique power passed down through bloodlines—different for every family, and often holding secrets older than history itself.
Kazuya stepped forward.
The crystal awaited him.
