The mansion door slammed behind them with a force that shook the walls.darkness swallowed the hallway, broken only by mira's weak flashlight, it's beam trembling like heartbeat. The AIR was thick, heavy, smelling of damp rot and something
worse--something that had been waiting for them.
Tara froze, starting at a cracked mirror. her reflection... wasn't following her movements.it smiled slowly, A cold Unnatural smile.. that strechted too wide. Nisha step closer to warn her, but the mirror reflected.. someone else a Shadowy figure crouched behind them, faceless and still.
A low, growling whisper slithered through the air:"' leave..or join.." the words weren't just sound-- they viberated in their bones. Mira felt a cold, invisible hand grip her shoulder. She spun, but nothing was there. The hallway strechted endlessly, twisting into impossible angles, door opening and closing on their own, each creak louder than a scream.
Then,from the darkness above, a Shadow dropped silently in front of Rohit, blocking his path. He couldn't scream--- the air seemed to choak sound of his throat. The shadow lingered, twisting like smoke, feeding on their fear, growing stronger with each heartbeat.
Mira's hand found a dusty journal on the floor. The words inside seemed to crawl:
" THE HOLLOW CONSUMES THE BRAVE FIRST. The weak last. Non leave alive."
The Friends' hearts pounded. The mansion was alive. it was hungry. And the hollow had already begun choosing...
