Devotion in the Age of Kali
The devotion of the present age should be understood today so that we can experience bliss tomorrow.
You have understood very well that this body is the divine Narayani form. But have you realized that even while being close to Narayan, we still consider ourselves guilty? Why is that?
It is because we are not truly present in our bodies. Imagine, if we were fully in our bodies, would we squander our voice so recklessly over events happening far away in our family, fields, or office? No. That is why we are not really in our bodies.
Even while being near the body of Narayan, we still see our own actions as flawed. Therefore, we try in every possible way to protect ourselves — sometimes through vows, sometimes by visiting sacred places or attending satsangs — thinking that perhaps our mind will prove that we are pure. But the real reason lies elsewhere.
