Throne Feud

An outcast slave named Cynewulf, the illegitimate son of a betrayed king, who rises in the dark steampunk world of Aethelgard a dying continent under the dome of a giant machine called the Iron Shroud where the reality outside the city walls has collapsed into a cosmic nightmare; with strengthForbidden Screed-Craft that allows the imagination to rewrite the laws of the world but erases the user's memory and sanity, Cynewulf climbs from slave to rebel commander amidst a war of intrigue between nobles, religious technocrats, and traitors, all while facing an invasionan unimaginable entity from outside reality, until finally he must choose between maintaining his humanity or destroying his own identity in order to save humanity and seize the Throne of Cogs, the throne that determines the fate of a world on the verge of extinction.
