Chapter 194 - Chapter 194: Directionally Challenged

Kaede didn't know how much time had passed, but it was probably dark out by now, right?

In other words, Kaede had been in the Dungeon for a whole day, but where was Kaede now? Hmm, on the fifth floor of the Dungeon.

Was this speed fast? No, slow, very slow. Based on Kaede's strength, she should have been able to pass through the first ten floors very quickly, but the reality was that Kaede was still on the fifth floor.

Moreover, she had no intention of stopping, not at all.

Looking at the path in front of her, a helpless, wry smile appeared on Kaede's face. This path... she seemed to have walked it before.

Then, Kaede picked up the magic stone on the ground. She had thrown it herself to mark the way, but now she had picked it back up.

Well, by now, even Kaede had to admit that she seemed to be... directionally challenged.

This wasn't right, very not right. Why did she have the 'lost' attribute? Clearly, the other her was so weak and didn't have the 'lost' attribute, so why did she get lost? And she had been lost for a long time.

Which path should she take now? Kaede looked at the fork in the road and hesitated again, then, giving up on herself, she randomly chose a path and walked in.

Then, Kaede saw a figure, a figure with long golden hair and golden eyes. She was quickly cutting down monsters, and after seeing her, she rushed over to this side.

"Kaede still hasn't returned." Aiz Wallenstein looked at the sky that had already darkened and said with some worry.

"Don't be so concerned; that person won't have any accidents." Bete wasn't like he was before; he had also remembered what happened earlier, so he said.

"I'll go check the Guild." Saying this, Aiz Wallenstein rushed out of the Familia's location and ran towards the Guild.

"Aiz Wallenstein really cares about Kaede, doesn't she." Tiona said, watching Aiz Wallenstein run out, then a smile appeared on her face. "Could it be that they really are...?"

"That's impossible." Loki said from the side.

"Why is it impossible?" Tiona was a bit dissatisfied that her guess had been rejected.

"Kaede is a pure-blooded Dragonoid." Loki said, squinting her eyes.

"Dragonoid?" At this moment, not just Tiona, but Bete, Riveria, and Finn were all shocked.

Biting his thumb, Finn searched his mind for the Dragonoid race, but there was none.

"The Falna won't be wrong, so don't think too much about it." Loki said.

"Geez." After Tiona complained, she didn't say much else. As for worrying about Kaede's safety, she felt it wasn't necessary; that person didn't look like someone who would get into trouble easily.

Over at the Guild, Eina was also standing there a bit anxiously because Kaede still hadn't returned.

Could something have happened? Eina didn't quite believe that Kaede would get into trouble so easily.

Or could she have already returned to the Familia without notifying her? Eina thought, but she still waited here for that figure to arrive.

Then, Eina saw a head of blonde hair rushing towards her.

"You're back?" Eina let out a sigh of relief. She was just about to scold her, but then she saw the other person's eyes—they were golden.

"Er, it's the Sword Princess." Only then did Eina realize she seemed to have... mistaken the person.

"Are you Kaede's advisor?" Aiz Wallenstein also noticed Eina greeting her, immediately reacted, and asked.

"Ah, yes. Has Kaede already returned to the Familia?" Eina recalled Aiz Wallenstein's hurried movements just now, and a bad premonition arose in her heart.

"No." Aiz Wallenstein shook her head. "Where did Kaede go?"

An anxious expression appeared on Aiz Wallenstein's face.

Aiz Wallenstein possessed a face that could be described as a divine gift, and compared to Kaede, she had a unique temperament. Although Kaede had one too, it was different. Aiz Wallenstein's anxious expression made Eina feel a sense of guilt just looking at her, as if not telling her was a huge deal...

"Kaede went to the Dungeon." Eina said immediately, shaking off the strange feeling in her heart.

"Mm." After hearing this, Aiz Wallenstein turned around directly and left.

"What an... incredible person." Eina shook her head, thinking, no wonder Bell admires her so much.

"I hope Kaede is alright." Although she thought this, Eina wasn't that optimistic, nor was she heartbroken; after all... weren't things like this common occurrences?

Afterward, Aiz Wallenstein rushed all the way to the fifth floor, and on the way to the sixth floor, she saw Kaede standing there.

"Are you alright?" Arriving at Kaede's side, Aiz Wallenstein immediately began checking Kaede's body, looking for any injuries or the like.

"Uh, I'm fine." Kaede indicated that she was perfectly fine, and not even hungry; after all, she had eaten so many magic stones...

However, even though Kaede said this, Aiz Wallenstein showed no signs of stopping.

Only after personally confirming that Kaede was unharmed did Aiz Wallenstein breathe a sigh of relief, and then a hint of reproach appeared in her golden eyes.

"Why didn't you go back?" Aiz Wallenstein said, "I was very worried."

"Uh..." Looking at Aiz Wallenstein's expression, Kaede smiled, a very happy smile.

"What are you laughing at?" Aiz Wallenstein tilted her head, looking at the smiling Kaede with a trace of confusion on her face, not understanding.

"It's nothing, I just feel like Aiz Wallenstein-chan is too cute." Kaede said, squinting her eyes.

Aiz Wallenstein blushed, then seemingly thinking of something, she straightened her face and said: "You still haven't answered me why you didn't come back? I, everyone, were very worried."

"Uh..." Kaede opened her mouth, then her face turned red, and finally she said, "I, um, got lost..."

Kaede said, there was nothing more embarrassing than this...

"Huh?" Aiz Wallenstein blinked, and then, after a while, just when Kaede thought Aiz Wallenstein wouldn't make fun of her, Aiz Wallenstein started to laugh softly.

"Let's go back..." Kaede said after a moment of silence, then walked away as if fleeing, but after a short while, she obediently returned behind Aiz Wallenstein...

"You lead the way..." Kaede felt that she was really... so embarrassing.

"Pfft." Aiz Wallenstein finally couldn't help but laugh out loud again, watching Kaede's face turn redder and redder.

"By the way, let's go to the Guild before we go back." Kaede said after thinking for a moment.

"Mm, okay." Aiz Wallenstein nodded, and Kaede also nodded. She didn't get lost when going to the Guild... although the path to the Guild was very simple...

Then, under Aiz Wallenstein's guidance, Kaede arrived in front of Eina.

Looking at Kaede's intact clothes, Eina was a bit confused, "You're okay?"

"I'm fine." Kaede nodded, "As for the reason I didn't return... you don't need to ask." Kaede said, her face turning red again.

"Kaede got lost." Aiz Wallenstein said directly.

"Hey!"

"G-got lost?" Eina blinked, and also laughed out loud.

"By the way, Eina, don't treat me as a LV1 in the future, my strength should be above LV3." Kaede said.

"Huh?" Eina widened her eyes and looked at Aiz Wallenstein.

"What Kaede said is true." Aiz Wallenstein saw the inquiry in Eina's eyes and nodded.

"Hiss..." Eina gasped, looking at Kaede with shock.

"That's all, the others are still worried, we're going back first." Kaede said, leaving this place of trouble. She didn't want to stay any longer; it would be bad if the news that she was directionally challenged was spread by Aiz Wallenstein all over Orario.

"A LV1 with the strength of a LV3." Eina shook her head, obviously unable to accept this news. It was just too terrifying. Then, when Kaede reaches LV5, how strong will she be? It's completely unimaginable.

Just as Kaede had expected, after returning to the Loki Familia, Aiz Wallenstein, who didn't know how to hide anything, told them the truth about Kaede getting lost...

And then... Kaede was teased all night, until she glared at them with a murderous gaze, at which point it finally stopped.

"Really, a sense of direction, how could it be?" Kaede was very troubled... Why did she have this trait? Just as she thought, the other her had never gotten lost, and she was weaker than her, while she was stronger, so she shouldn't get lost, but the reality was...

She, got lost...
